Are you even a little bit concerned about tomorrow, 6/6/06??? The date has three sixes in it, and it even said on the news that there are many women in their last trimester of pregnancy worried about giving birth on that day because of the anti-Christ and the symbol given to him in the scriptures. What do you think and why?

Per most scholars, Jesus was born 5-8 B.C. This being "2006" A.D. is due to an error made when the calendar that fixed Christ's birth in the year 1 A.D. was established; the new calendar was off, as noted, by 5-8 years. If true, then 6-6-06 actually occurred 6-6-1998 => 6-6-2001. If anything is to happen on 6-6-2006, it already happened at least 5 years ago.

Not concerned. It is the number of a man, not the date. The ancient Hebrew alphabet did not have special characters for numbers, but instead their alphabet also represented numbers. Aleph would be 1 for example. Second, if a date were significant, the Jewish calendar starts in April, so the true 06-06-06 is not until September.

I'm not worried about it. I'm even going to see "The Omen" tomorrow. There is no need to worry. In one of my favorite movies it says, "Fear of the name only increases fear of the thing itself" or something of that nature. I don't worry about it because it is just a number. I mean, if you think about it, in full thinking it's just June, 6 2006. If that helps!

Why? Nothing can happen without God allows it. He is in absolute control. Satan has no power at all without it is granted to him.
What people seem to forget is that the end time is not only a judgement upon satan, it is also a judgement upon man and his failure to allow God to be God.
Why will people be in strife if they take the mark of the beast? Well, that's a dumb question. Why would we aline ourselves with the beast?

Hey this whole thread is asking should we fear what we know will happen eventually. I think that it is silly to think about today in that manner.
We have eternal security and what is the worst thing that can happen to you - Oh u die and then go to heaven.... we have nothing to fear at all because our eternity is secure and our names are in that book, and the Lord Our God is mighty and he will not let us stumble or fall..... Do not let fear in as it is the devils way of destroying our faith in Our God....

I'm not as worried as you all think I am, I was just trying to find out who was, what you all thought, your views on the number on the date, etc. As someone has already said, we have our eternity bound and secure in the Book of Life, so the worst that will happen is the Rapture, and I know we are all looking forward to that day. However, if the anti-Christ were to be born today in America, or yesterday in other parts of the world, he would have to grow up, so we still have some time. ***poof***

A few things the dates have zeros in between I was praying on the matter extra protection nobody at school will try anything like a shut in or something worse and he kept me once I got up I kind of forgot about it so many kids my age have it twisted saying it's his birthday and all which is nothing more than the mark of the beast and I know who hold the power of life and death in his hands which is Jesus and I know my heart and soul belongs to him
