CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Anyone just a little bit concerned about tomorrow, 6/6/06???

There was no need. Whatever had happened, God was in control then as He is now. Worst thing that could happen was some form of natural disaster or mass murder or something where I would die, and get home to heaven. No need to worry, whatever happens; He is always in control.

Nope! I wasn't worried & never will be.
As Christians, Jesus coming back is our hope, joy & RESCUE!
If anything, I WISH 6/6/06 brought Jesus back for us!
(of course I'm a pre-tribber tho. lol)
But seriously, Jesus said He won't return at a time when people are expecting Him, He'll be taking most by surprise (like a thief in the night).
When the secular world is waiting for some apocolyptic sign, that's when it won't happen.
I watch & wait for the Lord's return any day & EVERY day; not in paranoia or obsessively but in hope, peace & joy.
