I used to live in LC for a few years... it's where my hubby is from. I would say "go McNeese"... but I really hated that school... and being an LSU fan, well it would almost be sacrilege, LOL!

Went to College a t Louisiana Tech, in Ruston

Met my Husband there, in Ruston,

He is from Benton, which is close to Bossier, which is close to Shreveport...

we now live in Zachary, which is close to Baker, which is close to Baton Rouge..

Louisiana is awesome, we have the best food and seasonings
(well except for Ruston, thats as close to northern food as i want to get!)

hey c rose! my mom went to BHS, but now lives in BR... I live in Prairieville - total opposite end of Br than you, but since I work in SE BR, I didn't wanna go north for a new school system, so I went south!
Oh, my hubby is also a manager at the cheesecake bistro. If you've never been, you have to go... YUM YUM YUM!!

Yes I am originally from Benton, moved to Ruston in college, now live just outside of Baton Rouge. South LA is much better than north IMHO.

Awww . . .I'm a grad of McNeese and my dad's been a teacher there ever since we moved here (that's why we moved here - Go cowboys!). I loved it.

I lived in Louisiana the first 24 years of my life...but been in TX for the past 4 years....

Lived in New Orleans the past 3 or so years (corner of 6th & St. Charles), but now I'm back @ the family house in NH (brrrrr.....) to get my affairs in order before heading to the mission field. Though I'm from NH, I count NOLA as home.
