I am in BR near Mall of Lousianna. Our church is housing and supporting 75 medical workers working the area temporary medical units.

We did have about 32 people staying with us, but now it's down to about 25. Staying at our church I mean, not our house. Some of them already have jobs, some were able to get into college classes, and some have job prospects.

AND--one lady is singing in our choir, and a couple of guys have joined our church. These are all people who had to leave their homes behind in South Louisiana. Most are from the New Orleans area. The hurricane was devastating but we're able to see God working and meeting people that we would have never gotten to meet if Katrina hadn't hit.

The adult Sunday School classes take turns serving meals to them. Next Sunday will be our turn again and we're going to all bring pot luck and have lunch with them.

I just found out that if I press the roll bar that's in the middle of the mouse, it makes the clothes of your characters go back to their bodies. Otherwise, they're often placed in an off position, and I can see the underwear of the characters.

Okay, I know it has nothing to do with Louisiana, but it happened on
this thread.

You guys are doing wonderful work! I have to commend you! My mother just returned from 3 weeks in Gonzalez, La where she worked in a church like yours donated to families while they get on their feet. I could not go, little ones here at home. But she brought back pictures. And shared all the wonderful stories of giving, receiving and hope. As always all of you are in our prayers!

I live in Lake Charles, as I have since I was 3. I do want move...sorry, folks, I just don't care for it.

I'm confused as to why you're still there. Are you planning to perhaps finish your education, then go job-hunting elsewhere?
