Hey girls,
I visted my doctor yesterday and was told I'm showing signs of gestational diabetes already. I did gain a ton of weight in the 1st trimester but I was told that was caused by the prometrium I was on for the first 12 weeks.
My question is though, if you have GD, what does your usual food menu consist of? I'm trying my best to put a list of food together that I can have. The nurse practitioner just told me to stop eating sweets completely and to stay away from fatty foods. Some people have told me to just start eating like I'm on a low carb diet.
Anyone have any helpful links or tips they want to share with me? Thanks so much, ladies!!
Oh, my glucose test to find out for sure if this is what I have is 3 or 4 weeks from now.
