War is tragic. Even necessary ones like WWII. Part of why most respect the military. It is a tough job that chews people up physically, mentally, and spiritually.

yes it is. I love all of our vets. i support each of them, support, defend, and advocate for these brave souls who endure inexplicable hardship and danger and then return to their country and be in wheelchairs, homeless, neglected, cast aside, forgotten and disrespected.

However the clip from the movie i was referring to was horrific and all that i said it was.

Wanton killing and then casually making a joke out of it and laughing over the bullet-ridden bodies is indefensible.

I don't think WWII was necessary.
