I strongly advise you not to use "greed" as a litmus test. You won't be able to buy stuff from too many corporations... :D

To clarify, they're have no heart for the little guy. Apple may be built around making things user friendly but they could care less about making their products available to the average user.

Those were created for a seperate type of demand. Like people wanting a smaller iPod for running. That's why one of the few features of the new nano is a step counter.

In either case they're heavily price controlled. Try and find an iPhone meant for lower budget people, the don't exist. Apple pretty much runs solely on the large (expensive) providers and there are no iPhone "mini"s.

I like apple products, but when it comes to price comparisons they have very little to offer. They're computers are even worse in this aspect.

The point is this, it's an electronic gadget, not an high end super car, so people shouldn't have to shell out 1500-2500 for a desktop/laptop or have to suffer with buying a second hand iPhone that was dropped in water, but is "working fine"...and people should be able to actually purchase said items w/out breaking the bank.

So w/out being snooty, what is your point is your point in bringing up Ferrari?

Make sure to get YouVersion... great Bible software with downloadable bible versions and audio, widgets and more. :)

Hmm, if I turn on my YouVersion Bible app in church instead of pulling out a physical Bible, think it will drive people nuts? :D

Still on Android. Still annoyed by some apps being iPhone only, but why would I pay $70 a month for an iPhone vs. $35 a month for Android, and I can customize a Droid more anyway (if I felt like it...which actually I don't!)

There are high-end gadgets just as there are high-end supercars. There are plenty of low to mid range smart phones so without being snooty perhaps you should just get over it.

If you think Electronics are actually the same quality as a Ferrari, I have this thing called a clue, you might want to get one.

Lol spoken like someone who has no idea of the kind of precision engineering that goes into consumer electronics. Clearly you have no clue, clearly you should just get over it ^_^

This sounds a little socialist to me. They price these things this way because they have the choice to do so being an independent company. Who is anyone to say that they shouldn't do that because it's expensive for a lot of people? If you think it's too expensive, don't buy it or consider it an investment and save up for it.

There are also plenty of alternatives out there as well. No one says you need to buy the shiny apple. Frankly, I find the fact that people spend a lot of money on Apple to begin with quite laughable, but to each their own.

I have the HTC Rezound. It came with the Dre Beats headphones but I didn't really like them. It sounds like it's playing everything through a sub-woofer or something. The phone is nice though. You can get some of the more middle or road smart phones for free with 2 year contracts now though so they aren't all expensive. It's the monthly service that I think is way overpriced though.

My Boss said that I can get any phone that I want this year. I do not know much about smart phones as I have a 2008 phone. Someone said that the Bionic is the best one to get; does anyone have experience with a Bionic and why is it so cool?

One of the main things that I want to do is to print my data out of a smart phone with a printer. I want to be able to store my documents in the smart phone and then print them out when I am in other cities. I am willing to buy a smart phone printer. Is there such a thing as a smart phone portable printer?
