CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Actually, I am, a practicing & trained mental health registered nurse. But I wasn't diagnosing...just making a suggestion that you seek help.

I believe God's grace is able to forgive anything that anyone has done. Seems like its pride that would keep one from accepting that God can do that.

I'm anti-social. I get really uneasy around crowds. Not so much anxiety, but just unsettled. I'd rather just be alone most of the time or if I have to go out, to be in open areas away from crowds.
If I have to go shopping for food or something, I have to kind of prepare myself for going out, and I pray before I go for the strength to get through it.

I used to dislike other people's company (except for parents and sis) until the age of 32. By the age of 33, my social skills improved and found it quite pleasant to be with friends when we ate at McDonalds and watched Horror films afterwards!
I think the car was the one to blame. I got this job at 32 where the company gave a free bus ride and there's no need to have a car. To get anywhere cheaply on the weekends, I'll have to tag along with friends and share the fare on the cabby.

Looks like some reply's have been erased in this thread. Such a shame cause I was looking forward to tearing a keyboard commando to pieces just like I did some others back in the day.

I'm not anti-social. Anti-social would mean that I am opposed to or against being social, and I don't give socializing that much time in my head. I'm just not social...non-social?
