Another Tsunami Dream

This is a tsunami dream I had this morning. I feel perhaps I was in Hawaii.

I dreamed that I was standing in a hotel with a few wealthy older women in front of a huge bay window overlooking the ocean. In a way we actually sat on the water.

They asked me to tell them about the end of the world.

I began preaching, the bible says that in the end time there shall be great tribulation such as never was since the beginning of time, nor ever shall be. And if God did not cut that time short, no
flesh would survive.

I began to tell them how there would be great tsunamis coming, and as we looked at the ocean we saw a great tsunami coming toward us!

Because of my previous interest in the subject, instinctively I knew what to do. I screamed, everybody get upstairs. We began running up the stairwell.

As we were running up, we saw a family with two small children and some hotel staff, I screamed everybody get upstairs! We turned up another flight, perhaps the third story and we ran alongside a large window, you could see the wave pouring alongside the outside of the building and you could see people caught in the wave.

We kept running up with the water nearly at our heels. We were at the top. I began to say thank you Lord Jesus. And considered dropping to my knees to pray a prayer of thanksgiving right there
with the few people that managed to flee to safety with me.

I saw the woman with the two little girls and she called me over to her. She thanked me for saving her life. She said when she heard me scream get upstairs, she knew exactly what was going
on and ran for her life.

I thought about all the other people in the bottom floors of the hotel. They had to be all dead. We had only moments to flee and this wave was huge and powerful, there was no time for them to
react at all.


Commentary

This is my second tsunami dream in which I was
divinely protected. I believe the Lord is saying to
those who are in his divine will, will be divinely
protected.

This is why it so important to stay close to God in
these last days. These dreams have allowed me to experience the horror of these catastrophes, and
believe me, you will want to be one of those who are blessed to flee to safety and not one who is caught in a wave. It is absolutely horrifying.

Sidenote: for all those who will argue with me and don't believe God gave me these visions for a purpose, I give you what Paul said, speaking of the judgment of God:

II Peter 3:17

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

So what exactly is this, a warning that this will happen? If so, can you be a bit more specific, like when, because then we can judge it. And yes, we are to judge prophecy, to see if it comes to pass. To have an open-ended prophecy is a nice way to cover yourself, imo.

You missed the earthquate last night off Sumatra. It's a pretty big miss; but then again, Sumatra isn't as important as the US of A, so it doesn't count.

Well I'm not denying that God can speak through dreams, but are you saying that those who keep close to the Lord can never have anything bad happen to them? The implication therefore is that if something bad does happen to you, it's your own fault for not staying close to God. This I can't accept.

Also, is this a warning that another tsunami is coming soon? I'm a bit confused.

Please consider the following:
a hotel is a temporary dwelling, much as our stay here on earth is.
Water is a type of the spirit realm, so you were talking to the ladies about spiritual things, and the tsunami is spiritual destruction - warning them of impending doom is like in Jude "warn them with fear and thus snatch them from the fire".
The journey upstairs is our translation from this world's kingdom to the eternal one. From your perspective in the kingdom of Light, you can see the people who are not saved being destroyed ("when the enemy comes in like a flood"). The dream is a type of preaching to people and bringing them into the Kingdom Of God, of their being saved from destruction. I think you are not being talked to about actual tsunamis, but the flood of the enemy and your role in bringing them to safety by telling them about the love of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ being able to protect them from disaster of whatever type.

See, when there's no date, or there is a date, but it's like 'well, it could be this day, but it may not be, but others think it is, so it probably is, unless it doesn't happen then it's not' then it becomes something that someone can't judge. There was an earthquake, true, but no tsunami on the westcoast. So we can only conclude this is a false prophecy.

Ah, another hit and run... with no follow up answers, no further comments. When I think about MDulin's posts, I think about a firebug - you know - an arsonist. They carefully set a fire that will cause great commotion, then stand back and watch all the buzzing activity, perhaps even get up in the crowd right at the police lines.

Anyone that has the Holy Spirit, can sense that things are beginning to happen. Yes we are getting earthquakes, large ones at that, and tsunami's. What I find amazing is they had an 8.7 this morning that should have produced a tsunami, but didn't, thank God, his hand was in it. So, that shows you right there, that they cant be predicted or what the result is going to be. But we know that eventually the earth is going to reel to and fro like a drunkard. Hopefully we won't be here when it gets that bad. To me this person has a deep fear of what is beginning, and it is a torture to her through bad dreams. She seems to have no peace. But to continually predict them as to time and place, and they don't come to pass over and over, and she still does it, needs prayer. I would like her to tell us why didn't they happen?

Earlier today I read through this OP and dismissed it as being just too similar to the now famous videos that were on the news for a month. Then later I typed up an Oh-so-clever post that was sure to get everybody laughing, but I was not allowed to submit the post. The Spirit just wasn't in it.

So then the question in my mind is, either that was just God working in me sanctifying and growing me in my walk, or this lady might have actually tripped over a prophetic word this time.

You have a way in eloquently stating things. For a second I was thinking perhaps this is right, but across the world Christians fall to natural disasters everyday. How many of those can we say are or are not in God's divine will?

Awe, but if you can name a area, and by the time she is finished, she will have covered the whole globe, but no date, and wait long enough anywhere from one day to 100 years, that would make it look o.k, wouldn't it? Anybody can do this.

I was editing my post when you posted this. I added a little comment at the bottom.

As far as God's divine will goes, I would have to say that God causes it to rain on the just and the unjust. (Hmmmmm....that scripture was actually meant as a good thing though). How about the one where Jesus asked if they thought those people upon whom the tower fell were worse sinners than the others. Ultimately I think all things from the largest to the smallest are within God's divine providence.

I spoke with one of the horse trainers at the barn tonight who rode in the Olympics for India a few years back (he's muslim and we've been praying for him and his wife)....he told me his relatives in the area over there...on an island somewhere...have been told to evacuate...that there is a tsunami coming. Has anyone heard this?
