As has been pointed out numerous times, the fish-eye distortion goes both ways, causing the horizon to curve down when below the centre of the lens and causing it to curve up when above the centre of the lens. However when the horizon passes through the centre of the lens then there is no distortion and it can be seen on every one of these high altitude videos that when in the centre of the lens the horizon curves downwards.

This is just after the balloon burst. The horizon is bang in the middle of the frame (upside down). No distortion.

I don't know what it is with you, but every day you start as if nobody has explained anything to you.

And when someone actually takes the time to explain something to you again, your reply is “Yeah, if you say so”.

You would be better served if you actually took the time to try to understand what was said, and debate the person showing you have done some research into what was said, instead of this flippant disrespectful attitude you keep displaying.

My point was anybody can send up their own camera with any kind lens they want and confirm or deny. They don't have to take anybody's word for it.

They absolutely can do that, but they don't and they won't, because they do not want to see evidence that contradicts what they have already decided is the truth.

Don't take my word for it. Get yourself a fisheye lens and take a photo of a square grid, both horizontal and rotated at various angles. Then you can confirm for yourself whether straight lines passing through the centre of the frame stay straight or are distorted.

That would mean trying to understand science.....

The reason I don't believe anyone has walked on the moon is .........the edge of the firmament is about eighty mile up, if anyone could get through the firmament you would see the sun, moon & the stars.

This is the reason why NASA has faked so many of their pics, video's & the moon landings.

So what is your reason for believing they did @Strong in Him ?

That would go cross grains against science in many other fields. eg. They calculate the coarse of asteroids and know by how many miles they'll miss the earth. Are you saying all that is fake too?

I think it would be more impossible to stage a hoax of man landing on the moon as compared to truly doing it. I think there are hundreds of reasons why this would be the case.
