That tale has been told with various animals in various renditions. Here's my favorite:P.S. The way I always heard that story is that when the snake bit the woman she complained, "Why did you bite me? I was so nice to you, trying to help you!" And the snake replied, "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up." End of story.
“Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.”Sometimes I see some people on the prayer forum who often ask for prayers, yet as far as I can tell they rarely, if ever, post prayers, or respond to requests for prayers, for anyone else. My temptation is just to pass them on by and pray only for others. Really, that's what I usually do.
Someone talk me out of my attitude. Or, maybe it is best to pray mostly for those others? After all one only has some much time to post.
Your Bible verses of course are to honored. However, my dilemma was deciding where to put my time. There is only so much of it in the world. I was also not seeking revenge. I was not seeking honor, either, though it seems I indeed had been easily irritated!“Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. 1 Corinthians 13:5-7
Love is tasted in situations where it's hardest to love. In those moments we feel like avenging or paying back bad for bad, God requires us to Love. We are more like Christ when we love and show kindness to those who least deserve it. After all, God does the same for us continually.
I went to YouTube to see what the narrator meant by "cave people." Still confused on that, though I guess some know what he meant. Looking at the comments under the vid, I agree with the person who said the scorpion is like a sociopath. I have just lately been watching vids particularly on narcissism, but also on sociopathy. (Surviving Narcissism by a Christian psychotherapist is a great channel.)That tale has been told with various animals in various renditions. Here's my favorite:
Please see the post I just left, above.talk you out? Forgive me but if you wont listen to Him you wont listen to anyone else. You already know what you should do... the choice is left up to you..
People only ask.. praise GOD.. only post praise GOD never ask what ever.. never answer back praise GOD. Its not about ME or what I personally like.

You are not giving advice. That is what this Forum is for. You are simply being insulting. There is nothing in my posts to indicate any desire for revenge. If you will get a definition for the word "revenge" you will see that it involves some kind of retaliation for some harm you feel has been done to you. How could those people have done me any harm? Where did I even hint that they had done me any harm? Perhaps it would also help for you to look up the word "retaliation." It always helps to clearly understand vocabulary words. BYE!Seems you might be trying to get some kind of revenge on people you believe to have done wrong.

I will tell you what I do, I have a prayer list in wich I like to pray for those who are in need of healing and also I pray for loved ones and anyone that I am trying to bring to Christ. We are all in need of praying for so this is what I do write everyone name down on a list and bring them before god daily.Sometimes I see some people on the prayer forum who often ask for prayers, yet as far as I can tell they rarely, if ever, post prayers, or respond to requests for prayers, for anyone else. And the above was my last post. As I said, above, I got the advice I needed. But some people are ignoring that and going into insult mode.
True. Some people may be insecure about their intercessory abilities.
Or some may be going through a time of great confusion that they could hardily have the clarity of mind to pray.
If one is called to a prayer ministry, why not serve without expecting anything in return?
