I was driving home late one night alone. I was getting tired and I believe I sort of dozed off at the wheel and swerved toward the ditch. The next thing I know, I felt the steering wheel jerk in my hands and I was coming off the side of the road, right back onto the road. All the way home it almost felt as if someone was guiding the steering wheel, keeping me safely on the road. I believe that was an angel.
I had a potpourri burner in my room one time, which I had a candle in the bottom and some potpourri in the piece that sat on top. This was sitting on my desk that was in front of the window. I was busy doing some things in my room when all the sudden it began to smell like something was burning. I looked over at the desk and the potpourri was on fire. I ran out yelling something like, "The potpourri's on fire!" and my mom, in a panic, went rushing into my room throwing water on it. Well, that just made it worse. The flames shot up and it literally looked like that whole wall was on fire. My mom and I ran out of the room to get my step-dad, leaving the room empty...no one at all was in the room. When we came back to the room there was no fire there at all. There was a burnt spot on the wall that went all the way up to the ceiling, above the curtains. Yet, the curtains had not one burnt spot on them at all. There was this cross that I had sitting in my window. It was one of those that has a piece of string hanging off the bottom so you can use it as a bookmark. Well, the string was burnt off it, but the cross was untouched...not one single burn spot on that cross. That was definitely being protected! I keep that cross hanging right beside my computer as a constant reminder of God's protection.
I believe my grandpa used to see an angel. He had said numerous times that he saw a lady in a long, white dress. That picture someone posted on here of an angel walking in the woods at night is almost exactly how he described what he saw.
There was also this one time that we (my mom, grandma, grandpa, and I) were going to go to this one town to go visit my aunt and go shopping. Well, Grandpa said that we shouldn't go. We insisted that we wanted to go and he finally said we weren't going because something kept telling him not to go that it's unsafe.
We didn't go and we turn the TV on a while later to see that there was an explosion in that town, right where we were going. We would have gone right through there at the time it had exploded.
One night I had a dream about someone, where they were crying and then something that had to do with a father. So, I started praying for them and their father and whomever they may know who's father may be ill. I got a letter from the person in the dream shortly after, saying that her father-in-law was ill and had to have surgery. He had to go in for surgery the day after I had had that dream. So, I was prompted to pray for him and for her. She may have been crying about it at that exact moment I had the dream.
There was also another time that I was worshiping and suddenly I heard, "Pray for Mrs. K....! Heart attack." So, I instantly went to praying for her and I don't think I've ever prayed so hard in my entire life or for so long at any one time about one thing. That weekend she said that she had to go in for some tests on her heart the past week. I nearly jumped out of my seat when I heard that. I was like, "Oh my! That was true! I must have been led to pray for your protection from that!" She never had a heart attack and the tests came out alright as far as I know.
If you feel led to pray for someone like I had, then please pray for them. It could very well be that your praying for them could keep them safe from harm. And, if you feel any promptings to not do something or to not go someplace, then I'd say listen to it and not do it/not go.
