CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

this isn't angelic , but it kind of falls in this category. My grandma was on her death bed when she looked up and said, "I see dad ( my grandpa who died years earlier )" my mom said, "you see dad?" Grandma said," yes,hes waiting for me"

Yes, there have been many angelic encounters in my life. There was one time in particular when I was living in Turkey, I was stuck without any money in the middle of the night, and an angel picked me up in a white car and drove me home. It's a long story, but it changed my life forever. There have been a lot of others, and they are wonderful. If you are faithful to God, He will take care of you even when everything seems lost.

Thank You for this thread. This is my first post, I am a little cyber shy. I have had many times in my life where I have felt angels present. My now ex husband used to stand really close to me and yell in my face, he was very intimidating. This day, I felt angels surround me and put a ring of Gods light around me and his words did not affect me. I was not a Christian then, I was a mish mash of Catholicism, Paganism and New Age beliefs. After this experience, I went into the Doreen Virtue version of Angels which I now realize was not from our Lord, after becoming a Christian, I know have been given a spiritual discernment about spiritual realms.
