Professor : You are a Christian, aren’t you, son ?

Student : Yes, sir.

Professor: So, you believe in GOD ?
...
Student : Absolutely, sir.

Professor : Is GOD good ?

Student : Sure.

Professor: Is GOD all powerful ?

Student : Yes.

Professor: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to GOD to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn’t.
How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent.)

Professor: You can’t answer, can you ? Let’s start again, young fella. Is GOD good?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Is satan good ?

Student : No.

Professor: Where does satan come from ?

Student : From … GOD …

Professor: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student : Yes.

Professor: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?

Student : Yes.

Professor: So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer.)

Professor: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?

Student : Yes, sir.

Professor: So, who created them ?

(Student had no answer.)

Professor: Science says you have 5 Senses you use to identify and observe the world around you.
Tell me, son, have you ever seen GOD?

Student : No, sir.

Professor: Tell us if you have ever heard your GOD?

Student : No , sir.

Professor: Have you ever felt your GOD, tasted your GOD, smelt your GOD?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of GOD for that matter?

Student : No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Professor: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student : Yes.

Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol,
Science says your GOD doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.

Professor: Yes, faith. And that is the problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Professor: Yes.

Student : And is there such a thing as cold?

Professor: Yes.

Student : No, sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture theater became very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat.
But we don’t have anything called cold.
We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat.
We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There was pin-drop silence in the lecture theater.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Professor: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light.
But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called darkness, isn’t it?
In reality, darkness isn’t. If it is, well you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?

Professor: So what is the point you are making, young man ?

Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Professor: Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality.
You argue there is life and then there is death, a good GOD and a bad GOD.
You are viewing the concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure.
Sir, Science can’t even explain a thought.
It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.
To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.

Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Professor: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument was going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work
and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor. Are you not teaching your opinion, sir?
Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class was in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class broke out into laughter. )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it?
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol,
Science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room was silent. The Professor stared at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Professor: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

Student : That is it sir … Exactly ! The link between man & GOD is FAITH.
That is all that keeps things alive and moving.

P.S.

I believe you have enjoyed the conversation.
And if so, you’ll probably want your friends / colleagues to enjoy the same, won’t you?

Forward this to increase their knowledge … or FAITH.

By the way,
that student was EINSTEIN.

Subject: This story will stay with you Forever

The Woman and the Fork

There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness
and had been given three months to live.
So as she was getting her things 'in order,' she contacted her Pastor
and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes.

She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service,
what scriptures she would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in.

Everything was in order and the Pastor was preparing to leave
when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important to her.

'There's one more thing,' she said excitedly..

'What's that?' came the Pastor's reply?

'This is very important,' the young woman continued.
'I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.'

The Pastor stood looking at the young woman, not knowing quite what to say.

That surprises you, doesn't it?' the young woman asked.

'Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request,' said the Pastor.

The young woman explained.
'My grandmother once told me this story, and from that time on
I have always tried to pass along its message to those I love
and to those who are in need of encouragement.

In all my years of attending socials and dinners,
I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared,
someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork.'
It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming...
like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie.
Something wonderful, and with substance!'

So, I just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my hand
and I want them to wonder 'What's with the fork?'
Then I want you to tell them:
'Keep your fork ..the best is yet to come.'

The Pastor's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the young woman good-bye.
He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death.
But he also knew that the young woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did.
She had a better grasp of what heaven would be like
than many people twice her age, with twice as much experience and knowledge.
She KNEW that something better was coming.

At the funeral people were walking by the young woman's casket
and they saw the cloak she was wearing and the fork placed in her right hand.
Over and over, the Pastor heard the question,
'What's with the fork?' And over and over he smiled.

During his message, the Pastor told the people
of the conversation he had with the young woman shortly before she died.
He also told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her.
He told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork
and told them that they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either.

He was right.
So the next time you reach down for your fork let it remind you, ever so gently,
that the best is yet to come.
Friends are a very rare jewel , indeed.
They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
Cherish the time you have, and the memories you share.
Being friends with someone is not an opportunity, but a sweet responsibility.

Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND...
and I'll bet this will be an Email they do remember, every time they pick up a fork!
And just remember...keep your fork!

The BEST is yet to come!!!!

Thank you Mary

.If we had only known..!

A young man sprinkling his lawn and bushes with pesticides
wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide remained... in it.
He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapors ignited and engulfed him
He jumped from his truck, screaming.

His neighbor came out of her house with a dozen eggs and a bowl yelling:
"bring me some more eggs!"

She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks.
The neighbor woman helped her to apply the whites onto the young man's face.

When the ambulance arrived and the EMTs saw the young man,
they asked who had done this.
Everyone pointed to the lady in charge.

They congratulated her and said: "You have saved his face."

By the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses
to thank her. His face was like a baby's skin.
A Healing Miracle for Burns:

Keep in mind this treatment of burns is being included in teaching beginner fireman.
First Aid consists of first spraying cold water on the affected area
until the heat is reduced which stops the continued burning of all layers of the skin.
Then, spread the egg whites onto the affected area.

One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water.
In spite of the pain, she ran cold faucet water on her hand,
separated 2 egg whites from the yolks, beat them slightly
and dipped her hand in the solution.
The whites then dried and formed a protective layer.

She later learned that the egg white is a natural collagen
and continued during at least one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white.
By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day
there was hardly a trace of the burn.
10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal color.
The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites,
a placenta full of vitamins.

Since this information could be helpful to everyone: Please pass it on?

“ Emotional discomfort, when accepted, rises, crests and falls in a series of waves.
Each wave washes a part of us away and deposits treasures we never imagined.
Out goes naivete, in comes wisdom;
out goes anger, in comes discernment;
out goes despair, in comes kindness.
No one would call it easy, but the rhythm of emotional pain that we learn to tolerate
is natural, constructive and expansive. ...
The pain leaves you healthier than it found you.”
