"Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile""

Yes, we have been through such storms 'before' haven't we ?

This time-around, we are wise to the ways
of those who deceive and cause disruption_ for such, is their calling

This time-around, the other cheek is offered [match this!]

My reputation is unmarred by * 'spurious claims' [He knows me, by-name]
*
~those posts, that are quickly 'edited' _ to appear harmless, to later readers
~and, those claims, of being 'harshly treated' _groundless [and defamatory]

:prayer:
The 'truth' will not stay concealed

It is so so true, that as you give, you also receive.
Giving love comes in the form of listening and sharing your story to others
to make one realise that others experience the pains in life that you also do too.
We are all human, we all feel so many different emotions, and pain. We make mistakes, we don't need to harbour guilt for any such thing.
Be genuine, be yourself.

~ it's a truly wonderful gift to find others who are compatible with you
and can empathise and be real with you too
~ love to love.
Be who you were
meant to be. Follow your path.
BE.

God, is Love

He who laughs last, just didn't get it...

Did you know the average adult laughs 15 times a day
~ the average child laughs more than 400 times...
SO lets all Be more child like and laugh out loud
and giggle until you you have tears in you eyes today
: ) Karen

Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is the meaning of success.

I received confirmation re: My Pension this-morning

I'm going to be "RICH"

£129 per week / US $202.45 [equivalent]
+ Rent Paid _ Heating Subsidies _Christmas Bonus [£10]

Oh, and I should, also add 'the perks' :- Free Bus Pass and Free Healthcare

Seems ironic,
that former prime minister Blair, will collect: £1Million per annum for, his pension

\o/

Have a Happy and SMILING Day all

Since you ask: In my "job" (I'm an independent contractor, so technically it's not a "job") I make about 53 cents a mile. Right now, the government allows 55 and a half cents a mile for business miles. Add to that tolls, and 40 dollars a week cargo insurance---- Hmmmm.......

Thanks MJ Bro'

I couldn't make a comparison from that 'data'

When I was employed with Bullen's Transport [many years ago]
I probably ran 400 miles per day, trunk/multi-drop
[ x 55.5 cents = US $200+ per day x 5.5 days upwards of 1,100 dollars ?]

Ususally I did 'day runs', but the night's-away were 'cool'
with subsistence allowances [payable, on top] ie: B&B and a cooked meal
I used-to pocket the money and sleep on a mattress in the 'Luton'

Tacho's, nowadays, report every driver infringement
[? ten minutes LATE, for a driving-break ? / 12mph over the governor speed :( ]
Nobody will get rich 'working' for, a living

Seems Pensioners too, have to 'penny-pinch', just to make ends-meet

In Massachusetts, it is determined by your earnings over your lifetime, if you have dependents etc.

Here, these benefits are always under changes; and currently, you don't get FULL benefits unless you wait to collect at age 70
But if you wait that long, they may not be there then, which is why we are taking partial benefits next year at age 62.

We don't have allowances for transportation worked in automatically (they offer a transport van for a small fee), and until age 65 we must pay for health insurance (even after that, you sometimes need to buy supplements)....or pay co-pays for certain services.

ENJOY it Dave (I hope and pray it is sufficient for your needs and economy there).
The LORD provides for what we need.... and what He wishes to bestow for our GOOD.
I doubt many 'seniors' live a 'fat' lifestyle, unless they were well off to start.

God bless you ~ and thanks for this thread; it has blessed me much this week
