CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't have answers, and I don't see any way we can get an answer we can be sure of. Lots of people have theories, and they're all different, and it looks like people just make theories about this stuff up, because they want to have *any* answer, even a wrong one, rather than no answer at all.
I can offer a few conclusions; however this came to be, it came to be a long time ago. Life has been around for a very long time, and over time, the kinds of creatures there are seems to change. It's pretty likely that there were fewer kinds of creatures once, and that many creatures we see as very different today have common ancestors, possibly all of them. We don't know where the first one came from; many people have theories about it, though.

All I said was there was fear, not that I believe it will happen, not that it wasn't propaganda, which our government has expertise in. All I was saying was that there was fear of it coming back. Thanks

Same deal with using a god to explain the beginning. What or who created god? We've been down this road before, of course, but saying a god created everything is, in my opinion, a very empty and meaningless answer.
