There is refusal to hear Elder 111, and the stopping of the ears. Having a form of Godliness, a mere form of religion, a round of ceremony and long show of prayer and formality, a pretense at knowledge of the will of God, in which it is claimed that there is obedience to God, all the while there is absolutely no power over sin, no victory, for the decision to remain in transgression when the Light has come to such, yet claiming holiness and the righteousness of Christ Jesus, who cannot know the children of disobedience, for Christ Jesus always obeyed His Father, and would never transgress the 7th Day the Sabbath of the LORD His God, there being no sin in Him, and so from such, Elder 111, the scripture says, turn away. Let there be grief, and pleading with God that there may yet be repentance granted these, for such can only die in/with their sins, but still, turn away, and wipe the dust of death from your feet, and take the message to others, who may yet hear, turn unto others, that they may have opportunity to accept before the door closes upon them forever. Do not let those which continually crucify Christ to themselves afresh and so waste your God-given and precious time and cast not the pearls away to them which only trample upon such wisdom, for the shame of their nakedness will appear in all its hideousness soon enough, and then, there will be such agonizing regret and such a sorrow as we will never have to know. See the example of Jesus Himself, who wept at the eternal loss. Let such go on in professed ignorance, it will be seen for what it is soon enough, for the judgment is soon to come to them and the Ten Commandments of God be seen in the Heavens [Psalms 50:6, 97:6, 119:172; Isaiah 51:6], and they will awaken soon enough, yet too late, by that which is coming.

So to obey the law that God gave is to be lost? I cor. 5:Nonsense.... the only ones judged by the 10 commandments are those who accept them as their standard of righteousness and they better beware because in their efforts to choose them they in reality reject the righteousness of Jesus and instead of being judged as blameless for faith in him they are judged by the Law itself and they will be found as breakers of the Law. One has to choose which standard of righteousness they desire either their own through the Law or Jesus righteousness imputed upon us by our faith in him.
Umm... sorry but the 10 commandments don't say anything about extortion. So to obey the law that God gave is to be lost? I cor. 5:
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Why did Paul not know that? Those that break the same Ten commandments that you say are not for Christians Paul say have nothing to do with them not even to eat with them. Can you explain what is going on here?
Am I understanding correctly from Steen07 that Moses hid from the people the taking away of the law?
That Moses was hiding the truth from the Jews?:o Somebody call for the Holy Spirit to return to this place please!!!

Railers nor drunkards also are not a part of the 10 Cs.Umm... sorry but the 10 commandments don't say anything about extortion.
The chapter is about adultery, so what is it you are talking about? Read the chapter and see!Paul certainly did not say that in the passage you quoted.
Paul said for us to not keep company with people like you who rail (utter bitter complaint or vehement denunciation) against the truth. Paul had in mind those Jews who followed him everywhere causing trouble and is the exact reason for the Council at Jerusalem.
Some people can not hear. This is by choice. Paul is talking about our relationship with the law and grace. The central theme of Romans is anti law and pro grace. The chapter is about adultery, so what is it you are talking about? Read the chapter and see!
We're bound to the Word of God, and have no reason to 'hear' Elder111's continual contradiction to Scripture. What did you expect? There is refusal to hear Elder 111, and the stopping of the ears.
The above is one single sentence that rambles around multiple subjects. It is poor grammer at best, and mimics Ellen White's lack of prose. I highlighted one part of this rambling sentence to draw attention to a topic you don't recognize from Elder111's posting history.Having a form of Godliness, a mere form of religion, a round of ceremony and long show of prayer and formality, a pretense at knowledge of the will of God, in which it is claimed that there is obedience to God, all the while there is absolutely no power over sin, no victory, for the decision to remain in transgression when the Light has come to such, yet claiming holiness and the righteousness of Christ Jesus, who cannot know the children of disobedience, for Christ Jesus always obeyed His Father, and would never transgress the 7th Day the Sabbath of the LORD His God, there being no sin in Him, and so from such, Elder 111, the scripture says, turn away.
I'm not going to bother parsing the rest of this post, which is rife with accusations and isn't suitable for discussion. Your post was anchored to (yet) another one of Elder111's rejection of the Law, which testifies of the origin of the Sabbath, blindly accepting the mistake he made.Let there be grief, and pleading with God that there may yet be repentance granted these, for such can only die in/with their sins, but still, turn away, and wipe the dust of death from your feet, and take the message to others, who may yet hear, turn unto others, that they may have opportunity to accept before the door closes upon them forever. You practice spiritual adultery, a fait accompli exposed on this forum. The chapter is about adultery, so what is it you are talking about? Read the chapter and see!
Steeno7 cited his source - a commentary that anyone familiar with Scripture would instantly recognize stemming from 2 Corinthians 3, which in turn draws on the account of Exodus 34. It was a good post. I find I tend to like Steeno7's contributions. All I see from you is questioning Scripture as if it were anathema. That's the reason you proffer questions ignorant of the material you're confronted with.Am I understanding correctly from Steen07 that Moses hid from the people the taking away of the law?
That Moses was hiding the truth from the Jews?:o Somebody call for the Holy Spirit to return to this place please!!!
We do. That's why we don't 'hear' you when you violate the Law and insist that Jesus did, to promote a completely unBiblical view that can't be reconciled with Scripture.Others would see who will accept the way of God.
It seems to me his arguments are degrading in content and value as he rumbles through his burning pile of straw.Steeno7 cited his source - a commentary that anyone familiar with Scripture would instantly recognize stemming from 2 Corinthians 3, which in turn draws on the account of Exodus 34. Agreed. It seems to me his arguments are degrading in content and value as he rumbles through his burning pile of straw.
The perversion of scripture is being projected as being intelligent while the "thus saith the Lord" is of ignorance?Agreed.
His latest contribution provides a quote whereby he overlooks his appeal to serve "with the flesh the law of sin" in v.7:25. That's the same as v.7:5's past-tense mention of "when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law" expressing the condition of the Law's recipients prior to the Gospel of redemption, providing God's solution.
I'm not sure if we're dealing with someone who has comprehensive skills exceeding a few words at a time. The narrative of Romans 7 has no value to someone selecting sound bites extracted from context.
