  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

An attempt to eliminate God.

The same way a man can love his wife and still have an affair. The fact that Jesus said keep the commandments and mentions them have Him reaching the law, is that not a good example for you to follow?
That is love? Really? And that is what you want your neighbor to do with your wife? What a pity. I would not be your wife if I were a woman. OTH the may not be a bad deal. At least she could get all the loving she could handle.

Have you personally done the two things I mentioned?

I will give a kuddo for paying closer attention to the passage. NTL you admit that Jesus is not really teaching the law.

You can walk on water and talk to Moses too.
Where did he imply that?

This is for Christians today and always. Why do we reject it? Why do we reject God's word?
Ps.119: Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

When you understand God's covenants you'll know how to apply God's word to wisdom.

One has to say a lot of things when they are rejecting half of what Paul wrote to make up for the difference for sure.

You seem to be the only one suggesting Christianity rejects God's Word. On the other hand, your posts are rife with rejection of God's Word. Something is wrong with your view. That too has been pointed out recently.
We have Elder111's admission his "salvation" is dependent on his own compliance with the old covenant, and we have the proof he isn't compliant.
