thanks everyone!
Hello Chloe O,
I just want to encourage you to seek God with all your heart in this gift of life we share for a time. I'm 55 now, and have been through a lot of living, and I can tell you for sure that all the time I wasted was the times I forgot about finding out why God placed me here on earth. We are here to learn about true love - not just the selfish kind, but the kind that gives and is against our nature.
We are taught by the world to not believe in God, and it is sometimes real hard to see the trees because of the forest, like the old ironic saying goes, because God literally surrounds us with His presence, yet we so often ignore what life says to us about our loving Creator. Death is a terrible thing that has happened to mankind, yet God cannot violate the will of man to make choice, as love, true love, cannot be forced on another and requires giving freely.
I have seen lots of science and have followed science as a student for many years. It is interesting to see what men have discovered about what all God has created, but those that try to say its all accidental fail to see the intelligent design and great beauty in all things He has made. It seems to me, that if we really knew so much about how things like life worked or the basic elemental powers of this universe, we would be making trees, food, giving life, and making worlds ourselves. We can't, and no matter how grand our illusions may be as mankind, we are still in the hands of God when it has all been said and done. It is a good thing that He is the very essence of love and mercy and has shown us His love through Jesus taking our penalty upon Himself for us.
I hope you continue to seek God and find out, as I have, to know Him is to love HIm with all your heart.

God has been with me always. Before the age of five, the Father came to me in my dreams. When I went to my first Sunday school, the women were astonished by my understanding of the things of the Lord.

I can remember how excited I was when I received my first bible. I was not able to read most of the words and that gave me the drive to learn to read. Because I wanted to learn more about my God. Though, when I learned how to read, much of what I read made little sense to me, but I read anyway. Because I felt close to God when I read his Word. I would go in my room and read and read and read.

At the age of fifteen, a friend of mine invited me to a youth for Christ weekend getaway. I was allowed to go and it was there, for the first time in my life, what I was reading made sense. I became born again, saved the last night before leaving the weekend getaway. My conversion was so powerful that it was just as it says in the bible. All things are made new. And it has carried me to this day. Though I have gone though times where I did not do the right things, the Lord was always there and I always knew he was there. He never once gave up on me and I never once doubted he would. I have always known there was a God and will never doubt there is not a God.

For how can the creation deny the Creator?
