I know what you were referring to - still I don't see it in context with this scripture in Amos 3:3 and I was always told that it is not wise to use scripture out of context. You can make any scripture mean Anything you want, out of context.

In some ways it reads like an aphorism - if that's the right word - in the book of Proverbs, quotes from which are often cross-referenced with other Scriptures thematically.

I do agree about the matter of context being important.

Here is another reminder so as none of us falls for this false inclusive unity stuff .
mark those who cause DIVISIONS CONTRARY to the DOCTRINE which you have learned ,
mark and Avoid them . we dont just keep company with anything . ONLY with true likeminded believers . ALL others we preach the gosple too . if they recieve it amen . IF not , shake the dust off and move on .
