Today I celebrate July 4th as one who has served in military uniform during a time of war, as did my father before me.
My highest regard today goes to Kevin Costner who invested in an American enterprise, Ocean Therapy Solutions, as a committment to reversing the marine environmental destruction caused by oil in the seas in and around the U.S.A. His investment in a company in Santa Barbara, California, whose technology is now being used in defense fo American waters in the Gulf of Mexico is the most significant patriotic act of national defense demonstrated by a civilian.
