I like Taylor and Kelly. She is down to earth for me. Of course I am a southerner and speak with a southern drawl. Maybe that is why? Anyhow I voter for her a lot!

you know, I happen to like Andrea Bocelli's voice, not too crazy about his songs...really gotta be in the mood to listen to him...one good thing about him is that he won't be biased toward someone based on how they lookb but by voice and personality.

Hey ya'll, I just wanted to pop in and say Hi! I am a faithful American Idol watcher. Well actually my 3 kids are too.. I really like Elliot. I think it's his whole story that just touched me. Goodness, it's so hard to choose, I just like them all..

I was relieved that Ace finally went.

I was rooting for Taylor to refuse to choose a group, so I was disappointed when he did what he did, though I understand that his part very well could have been orchestrated by the powers that be.

I don't know anything about that Andrea guy, but I'd be more comfortable if he didn't have a girl's name.

In total agreement with Ginny (who sappily brought it up) and everyone else who talked about it: The Small Screen forum is such a friendly place and so much fun! I love watching TV with all you guys.

Unfortunately I have no remote privileges, so I've never seen 24 or Lost. But I can't WAIT for Big Brother. Unanimous is but a paltry substitute.

Funny how Simon predicted the top two to be Chris and Taylor with Taylor winning, then at the last minute added Kellie to be in the top three. (He must have heard about the VFTW people) Could it be pre-determined? We'll have to wait and see won't we?

In the past my husband developed the term "anointed one" (okay, not a good application, I know ) when it appeared that the AI powers that be had already chosen the winner in advance. It was most apparent in the case of Fantasia. We just never enjoyed her singing and especially not her early attitude, but she did seem to have a charmed AI life.

Early on in the auditions, it seemed that Paris was going to fulfill this role, but she seems to have gradually slipped in position, so it just may end up as Simon says ("Simon says" LOL ).

I too hope that Kellie goes next or at least very very soon.

Sometimes I wonder about "the powers that be" too for this show. First time for me was last season. As for Fantasia, I think she actually had a very large fan base. I bought her CD and I really love it personally. Again it all boils down to one's individual tastes in music and sound.

I think Paris will do very well. If she put out a Jazz album, I'd buy it. Not sure about any other genre from her though. (Then again, I'm just a huge fan of Jazz/Soulful music) I don't think she's going to be on AI much longer though. She doesn't seem to have too many voters. I'm guessing it has something to do with her age, speaking voice, and a couple of those weeks where she had a strange "attitude."

I guess we'll see how much "Simon says" rings true. I'll be disappointed if things do continue to seem fixed at times.

We went to see the tour last summer, only because of Constantine.

I don't think Fantasia was predetermined to win...she had a big fanbase, can sing anything and she didn't have any competition. (sorry Diana fans) and Jasmine was backed by VFTW...

What I didn't like about Fantasia was her ending almost every song with "yea, yea, yea, yea" Please come up with something more original. My house voted for Diana and have bought her CD. (She was robbed IMO) I would never listen to or buy anything of her's. But then again I am not into her kind of music.

VFTW claims they were backing Carrie last year which I don't see. She was good and so was Bo. Either one would have been a great Idol. I think they just like to take credit where credit isn't due.
