That's wonderful!! Go Mandisa!! In spite of what some people thought, I always thought she looked fabulous!

*hesitates* Well... there were one or two outfits that just made me go, "No Mandisa, NO!!" But for the most part she looked very classy and elegant.

You know how at the end of all the touring the judges do after people have auditioned in different cities?....They usually play ONE song that got on their nerves b/c it was sang so much?

I believe one year it was the theme song to Aladdin....well, another year it was AT LAST by Etta James and they were going through a million people singing that song...and then the screen would go to Brady Bunch style where you saw people singing it together.

Woe to the person that sings that song!
Let me tell you...Simon was saying he could not stand that song. I make a prediction if it is su ng, no matter who sings it, he will say something negative.

As far as whose night it is to shine... I believe this will be stomping ground for Katherine and what's her name? AAAAAAAAGGGHHH! The youngest girl. Crud!

Paula: I am now convinced she has mental issues after she judged Elliot. I have nothing further to say. I am sure it was obvious enough for the rest of you.

Katherine: the judges were on crack...but like I predicted earlier (thank you very much) anytime someone sings Whitney or Mariah they SLASH 'em. What are they supposed to do? Pick someone who's a sorry singer so they sound better?

Elliot: I just don't see it.

Kellie: Can we please not discuss what she said about "Ghost". I cannot take any more embarrassment than I endured after her pre-performance interview.

Taylor:

Chris: no comment...just okay. I don't get the overdose of positivity.

Paris: not a good night.

One last comment, did any of you see how MAD Simon was when he was judging Taylor and loudmouth Paula jumped in where Simon could not get a word in edgewise(?) Oh man!

I could not for the life of me figure out why Katherine (or is it Catherine) was told that she couldn't measure up to Whitney, BUT Paris wasn't told she couldnt' measure up to Barbra.

I mean, they are both super stars. Why even allow the contestants to do these songs AT ALL if they will only getted slammed if they can't surpass people who are legends?

Just don't make sense to me.

I really loved Katherine!

I really enjoyed Paris as well.

I have thought for weeks Kelly should be going home, but we'll see...

Elliot did really good tonight. I voted for him. Katherine is usually really good.
I really liked Kelly in the past but lately she hasn't been doing so well. I think she lost her spunk.
Chris always does well.
I just love Paris.
I really enjoy Taylor's performance.
Not sure who my favorite is.

OK...

Katherine--I see London, I see France, I see Katherine's underpants! WOWZA- what a dress! She was coming out of it at all angles. Whew. Anyway--loved, loved the impromtu duet she did with Andrea Bocelli in the segment before her song. It really showcased her talent. I think the judges borrowed a bit of Whitney's stash, because I thought she sounded great! She looked a little surprised when Randy started doggin' her. Well, her Daddy loved it anyway!

Elliott--Thought he did a fine job with a song I really like, but Paula was just over the top. I was embarrassed for her. "You MOOOVE me!" My husband was imitating her, "You complete me" from "Jerry McGuire". Ha.

Paris--She was OK. I really thought she oversang it a bit, but she is young and wants to exercise that muscle. She will be a real powerhouse in a few years.

Kellie--Awww, she wants somebody to "play pottery with". Isn't that sweeeeet? She should know that Simon is just going to hate HIS song countrified. She should have picked a differernt one. I think Miss Kellie may actually be in the bottom three this week.

Taylor--He just didn't seem to be into it at all tonight. His words mushed almost Bucky-like, he was flat, and I just thought his performance was not great. I usually like him, but if I am going to be honest, he did not deliver tonight.

Chris--Chris sang with emotion and passion, and I was on another board where this woman posted, "I'm a woman, Chris!" which kinda got me giggling. Thought it was funny how they had him lie on the floor, but that is something that will help you with vocal training. Teaches you to sing from the diaphragm. I thought Chris was really fabulous, and he looked fab, too!

Prediction to go: Depends on if Kellie fans rush to her defense. It for certain won't be Taylor.
