God knows and He reveals the answer in the Bible to us...answer is NO.A part of me hopes it. God only knows the real answer.
It does look that way. I have to accept whatever God's truth is.God knows and He reveals the answer in the Bible to us...answer is NO.
I debated about posting this but I'm just curious,.. am I the only Christian on here who believes that through the sacrifice of Christ unbelievers can still be saved after they're judged? Or are there others on here as well? (Please don't try and get me to change my views because it isn't going to work and that's not what this thread is about.)
Our righteous deeds are as filthy rags.I think they mean that they have to pay for everything they did wrong which is different than Jesus' sacrifice for us. Also let's be clear about something here. I am not a universalist because I don't believe that everyone will be saved in the end. I just don't believe that a loving God would damn somebody to Hell just for simply not believing if they still follow all of His commandments by loving each other, being truthful, giving to the poor, etc,.. whereas if somebody was an unbeliever and committed murder, was stealing things, cheating people, and lying,.. I do believe that that would be a bigger reason to do that.
I realize that the Bible doesn't say that,.. but,.. that's where we have to remember that the Bible was written by man and how many times have we thought that somebody said something or twisted somebody else's words around that actually wasn't true? Anyways, I also believe that all believers are guaranteed to go to Heaven because of what John 3:16 says. It also doesn't mention anything about unbelievers in that verse,.. and yeah,.. the Bible talks a lot about how the wicked will be cast into the lake of fire,.. and my first example wasn't anything close to wicked. Not to say that those people are perfect,.. but that's where Jesus' sacrifice on the cross comes into play. (Not trying to change anybody else's mind so I would appreciate very much if nobody tried to change mine.)
Our righteous deeds are as filthy rags.
Actually I have multiple opinions on this. First of all,.. without the cross nobody could enter Heaven. Let me make that perfectly clear. Second of all,.. that's what I think Jesus means that nobody can get to the Father except through His sacrifice.
You want to show where in the Bible this is stated.

Looks like you got a lot of answers.I am sure others on here believe in universalism but it is not a proper Christian thing and was never handed down from the Apostles
Well maybe not in those exact words but I was only quoting somebody who quoted that verse where He says that nobody can come to the Father except through Him or something.

Questioning is not criticizing. You are avoiding his question by turning it back on him, and diverting away from your responsibility to explain why you believe what you do.If I tell you do you promise not to criticize me for believing the way I do?
Given that the wages of sin is death, paying the last cent for their sins means judgement to death.Jesus preached to the spirits in prison. That means they can be saved too, after they pay the last cent for their sins.

Why judge them in the first place?
You need to explain that with chapter and verse.
Umm,.. I already said that I'm not a universalist. My beliefs might be similar but it's not exactly the same.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Okay. Still it is not a proper Christian belief. Once your dead that are no second chances. God gives people countless chances and they reject Him consistently. Would you want someone in your house that hated you with a passion, no matter what you do they will not change their mind, you can be nice, give them everything and still they have a burning hatred toward you?
I wasn't talk about people like that.
What people are you talking about.
