Am I really following the Antichrist?

If you believe in the Jesus of the bible it doesn’t matter that you haven’t heard his real voice. People in the New Testament didn’t meet Jesus and they still believed and were saved. It’s faith that saves. I am sure that everyone doesn’t have a complete understanding of God.

1. Do you pray to Jesus as the God-man who, as God, joined himself with humanity in Mary's womb, grew up resisting all temptations to sin, leading a perfect life that we could never lead, dying in our place on the cross, rising on the third day, and going back to heaven?

2. Do you pray to Jesus as the Second Person of God, who is one God with the heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit?

3. Do you also pray to your Father, who has become your Father in heaven through Jesus' victory that I described in number one?

If you can honestly say yes to these questions, you are praying to the right Jesus.

If you have genuinely trusted in that Jesus, who paved your way into heaven, and don't trust in yourself to make that journey, then be assured that you are on your way.

If you seriously seek God The Father, you will find Him. However you can never get there without Christ. In my case for whatever reason, I was called and then visited by Christ like a thief in the night. God is powerful and He won’t lose any of His elect.

Matthew 10:16 says, "Behold, I am sending you our as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves."

It strikes me that this man is neither wise nor innocent, rather he comes across as the wolf not a sheep.

You need to read what the BIBLE actually says about the antichrist, because this person certainly hasn't. First of all the antichrist is referred to only three times (1 John and 2 John) and two of those refer to a physical person.

The third is a comparison. So 1 John 4 says, "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist..."

So if you confess that Jesus came to Earth physically, then you have nothing to worry about, certainly not that you have an antichrist in your mind.

You should also consider other things this guy is saying in their true light. He says 'Most brothers and sisters in the Lord are deceived.' If that is true, then there is a good chance that HE is the one who deceived.

He also tells you to avoid the media... but he uses the media (YouTube) to get across his ideas.

I would say, just based on this that HE is a false prophet and teacher and will have to face judgement on day.

In the meantime, as others have said, you need to read the Bible that is how you will get to know the truth from falsehood... wherever you find it.

Don't worry about what the voice in your head sounds like, what is more important is what it is telling you and if it is telling you something that is not in the Bible, then you will need to talk to someone wiser with experience (church leader is my advice), but it is not going to be the antichrist EVER!

In all seriousness, I'm not trying to make fun of @boxman144.

My point is, don't overthink it or worry about it too much. Just pray in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Then you'll be okay. If you don't know exactly who He is, ask Him to show you.

Your not following the anti Christ unless your following Nero from Ancient Rome and I really don't think your that old The best advice I can give you is stop looking at videos on YouTube they are not healthy for you.

I don't trust anyone outside of the bible that says they hear an audible voice from God or Jesus. ESPECIALLY if what they claim to hear runs contrary to scripture.

As Justin Peters puts it "If you want to hear God speak, read the bible. If you want to hear Him speak audibly, read it out loud."
I'm praying to the Jesus that I read about in the Gospels, that's who I want to hear my prayers. If that's the wrong Jesus, then I guess all of our faith is in vain. Because we have to believe that God came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, we have to believe that Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected, and we have to believe that the bible is the word of God in order to know those things.
Without faith that the bible is the word of God, we have no foundation for our faith in Jesus.

Yes stay in his word and prayer and you'll be fine. Get plugged into some discipleship group. If you're a new believer you need the right people around you.

If you are praying to the Lord Jesus Christ, or praying to God in Jesus name, you are praying in the right way to the right God. You also need to be sure that you are praying to God in heaven, not inside you or to a presence in the room. Every Christian makes mistakes. No one has a full understanding of the Christian life. Our heavenly Father is not looking for reasons to reject you. He has already accepted you, if you have accepted Christ. If you sin, all you have to do is confess that you have sinned. God forgives. And even then, you are not destined for hell. We are not hell-bound one moment and heaven bound the next. The Life that the Lord Jesus gives us is eternal. It is indestructible. I suggest that you get hold of "The Normal Christian Life" by Watchman Nee. You can download it from the internet for free, if you can't get hold of the print copy.

Don't let that man bother you, and don't listen to him anymore, he's a heretic who denies the Word of God.

Bible, the written word of God, points the way to the real Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God. If you truly desire to do the will of God, seek Him diligently. You can find Him in the Bible. And ask God for wisdom. Stay away from false teachers. Listen to John Piper and Paul Washer. "I'll be honest" is also a good YouTube channel.

There are many other Jesus' indeed. You want Jesus son of the living God of Abraham. But to study His word you run into Him with prayer and meditation. In this way you come to know the voice of God. You have to be careful of being stranded because you start hearing other voices besides that of the Lord, seeing other signs or wonders mimicking.

How does the guy in the video know He is hearing from the real Jesus ? He needs a compass, a gauge, a truth detector. And that's the word of God.

He rejects the word of God.
