That is a random piece of trivia. We have been over this before.

These things have consequences. You "remember" New Zealand being in a different place. Other people "remember" that.
But none of those - you included - "remembers" New Zealand being tropical to sub-tropical, instead of sub-tropical to cool. None of those who remember that "the moon could not be seen in the day" also "remembers" that they never saw moon-phases.

Funny how that works. Only people with a very cursory knowledge or interest in New Zealand "remember" it differently. Nobody who lives there has ever shifted timeline to find themselves in a different geography.
