Oh, for goodness' sake. The choice to use "allele" as an opposite to "alleluia" is ridiculous. Alleles are definitely existent.

How do you know they weren't supposed to leave it off as a correction to what was actually written?

By way of example, did you accidentally leave a D off of "granddaughters," or was there a good reason you spelled it that way (such as a limited field)?

In our assembly we read the scriptures in Hebrew every week.

You apparently are unaware of how rich, multilayered and interconnected the Hebrew language is. There is no way to represent more than a fraction of that in linear western languages like English.
