The Greek transliterators goofed ...
How do you know they weren't supposed to leave it off as a correction to what was actually written?

By way of example, did you accidentally leave a D off of "granddaughters," or was there a good reason you spelled it that way (such as a limited field)?

What do you mean "supposed to" leave it off?
As ordered by whom?

The word is הַלְלוּיָהּ That was how David wrote it in the Psalms. IT starts with the letter "hay" הַ which has the H sound. It is a limitation of Greek that does not accurately render it.

As ordered by God.

Think of the King James Bible as a sort of "correction sheet."

It corrects all the errors made over the centuries by men who may have erred in copying the originals.

How ON EARTH do you know this?

Were you there when he wrote it?

Frankly I'm sick of hearing "Hebrews this" and "Greek that."

Give it to me in [Jacobean] English, or I'm not in the least interested.

Not ... in ... the ... least.

I would need a BIBLICAL chapter and verse saying that is what happened. Without that, I cannot accept that in any way shape or form.

Show me where Paul or James or Jesus spoke "[Jacobean] English" and I may believe you have a point.

Otherwise ......

Perhaps they were "ordered by God" to NOT speak or write in English. (any version of english)

Wouldn't it be nice if God superintended the preservation, transmission and translation of His words over the centuries?

Or is God not invited to this party?

Wise men* can handle it themselves, can't they? ;)

* That's "homo sapiens" in tongues.

He did. That is why we still have the OT in Hebrew.

Uh-huh.

And I'm Genghis Khan.

What's God's name, according to your preserved Hebrew?

Also, what's Satan's angelic name?

No - just answering your question.

In our assembly we read the scriptures in Hebrew every week.

You apparently are unaware of how rich, multilayered and interconnected the Hebrew language is. There is no way to represent more than a fraction of that in linear western languages like English.
