• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

  :sigh: Makes no sense whatsoever.

I don't understand why not. If I were to say, for example, "The person who posts at CF as SharonL is a 27-year-old man from Uzbekistan who is a Democrat and Bulgarian Orthodox by faith," I would be talking about you, not someone else, but they would be untrue statements about you. (And sorry for the falsehoods, which of course I do not mean a word of -- but it seemed the easiest and clearest way to distinguish between person and statements about person.)

If somebody named Mohammed said, "you all should stop worshipping idols and worship the God who revealed Himself to Abraham," he would be talking about the one true God, the one we know from the Bible. If he then went on to say false statements about that God, he would still be talking about the God of the Bible, but he'd be making untrue statements about Him.

That is what most of us are saying happened. Not that the God taught by Islam is a true conception of God, but that it is the same God as was taught by Moses, Isaiah, Jesus, Paul, Aquinas, and Luther whom Mohammed attempted to teach about -- but that his, and Islam's, conception of Him was vastly in error.

WND: But what about the previous Jewish Temples? Do you believe they existed? Do Jews have any historic claims to the Temple Mount whatsoever?

.......We believe that the Jewish Temples existed, but we deny they were built near Al Aqsa. When the First Temple was built by Solomon – God bless him – Al Aqsa was already built. We don't believe that a prophet like Solomon would have built the Temple at a place where a mosque existed.

In a WND exclusive interview, Tamimi, who preaches regularly from the Al Aqsa Mosque, claimed Jews have no historical connection to Jerusalem or Israel and that the Jewish Temples never existed.

"Israel started since 1967 making archeological digs to show Jewish signs to prove the relationship between Judaism and the city and they found nothing. There is no Jewish connection to Israel before the Jews invaded in the 1880's," said Tamimi.
John 11:48 "If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our Place and nation."

How about the Muslim's let the Jews dig up the site...and we find out if the Temple was there one way or the other....

Already proved that David was the King of Jerusalem...and he reigned long before 1880 :D

But that would compromise their position.

Plus, artifacts everyday are proving the bible in a scientific light, and discrediting the Quran and the Muslim stance on Israel.

hmmmmmmm
