He produces Christ in us through the experiences we encounter.Yeah sure, God plans to you to fall and sin in the case that happens, and then commands you to repent... that is ridiculous.
Does God claim to be our Father ???I'm talking about your God, not human relationships. Come on man let's have some real talk, I want to know how you feel about God.
Does God love all people? Sending Christ to die for all giving them a chance to accept him as saviour?
Does you believe some people will go to hell?
Does God love the people in hell?
Who did God send to kill Jesus ?How about the killing of God's people throughout history? Does it show he does exactly what you say he doesn't do? Does Jesus ring a bell?
Living on battle field Earth does carry with it the risk, if not, the certainty, of death. Serving God on Earth is an assignment which, invariably, ends in physical death.“And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Revelation 6:11 (KJV 1900)
Peter? John 21:18–19.
Look at it this way. How would you fare laying around a nursing home wasting your life away? Would you prefer that to Christ blessing you with a martyr's crown? Who did better? Cain or Abel?
“Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:” Acts 2:23 (KJV 1900)Who did God send to kill Jesus ?

As I previously said, ... God knew that a mission to Earth ... was a death sentence for Christ ...“Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:” Acts 2:23 (KJV 1900)
Did God plan it?As I previously said, ... God knew that a mission to Earth ... was a death sentence for Christ ...

Regardless of the thread muse, the cryptic nature of the question got my cogs turning. So consider this a toilet read if nothing else.
God represents the monarchy. WE represent parliament. Just like the Queen can liquidise parliament, God can rule as autocratic leader over us. But again - like the Queen, God is FAR too diplomatic to do so. He wants to leave it to US to manage. (Not a complex concept.)
The truly mind-bending part pertains to the human concept of time. Because God surely knows EVERYTHING. He knows everything that has ever happened from the point of the big bang, and everything that ever WILL happen right up to the bitter end - when we're literally down to the final two stars orbiting each other in this cold dark universe, several trillion years from now.
Personally, I've learned NOT to go that far out. Instead, I take solace in the fact that God is the best scientist, story teller, craftsman, magician, lover, artist and architect that there will EVER be. Maybe we're just the result of God experiencing Himself through us via this theatrical event? And the Bible is the script? Who knows? I just know that the further I study into this faith the more it fascinates me. The biggest mistake you can ever make is to assume you've learned all there is to learn.
If I'm way off (which I probably am) forgive me.
OK so God caused you to sin in the past, and he will cause you to sin 10 years from now, yet you are deserving of his wrath for those sins, even though he caused you to do them?If you live for ten years from today. You will be doing only what God planned for you to do and this precise moment.
God uses all we experience to shape us.OK so God caused you to sin in the past, and he will cause you to sin 10 years from now, yet you are deserving of his wrath for those sins, even though he caused you to do them?
That's nonsense. No offense.
Look, man is deserving of God's wrath because he commanded us not to sin, and we disobey him by making our own free choice to sin, in contrast to his command. By not following his commands we dishonor him. Is it really that difficult to understand?
God gives people rules, makes them disobey the rules, and then punishes them for disobeying them? What would people call you if you did that to your children? Would they call you a good father, or an abusive father? You tell me.
I'm sure that you believe this. Me, ... not so much ...Yeah that's why I say your God is a fraud. You can't give an account for his actions, so you just keep deflecting.
I don’t understand the context of your question. However, if God planned the cross, then He planned evil to take place.Yes ...
Is a general sending a soldier into battle SIN ???
Yes ... it was the plan (and mystery) of God to ultimately sacrifice Himself to the world's evil, and thus, obtain the victory over it ...Read this.
“But it was the LORD’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in his hands.” Isaiah 53:10 (NLT)
He did not sacrifice himself to evil (Satan). He paid for the sins of his chosen so God could be Justified and not punish them for their sins. And treat them as though they are as perfect as Christ forever.Yes ... it was the plan (and mystery) of God to ultimately sacrifice Himself to the world's evil, and thus, obtain the victory over it ...
He planned to incorporate evil. That's different than sourcing it.I don’t understand the context of your question. However, if God planned the cross, then He planned evil to take place.
Can God restrain evil?He planned to incorporate evil. That's different than sourcing it.
God used the world's evil ... in overcoming the world's evil.
I once worked our church's youth. In doing so, I had to deal with a rather incorrigible boy who would, on occasion, lift his leg to kick me.
On one such occasion, I simply held his foot when he lifted it, ... and he promptly fell on his butt. He never lifted his leg to kick me again.
I simply used my charge's evil ... to overcome his evil ...
I didn't say that God sacrificed Himself to Satan ... rather, only to the world's weak, presumptive evil ...He did not sacrifice himself to evil (Satan). He paid for the sins of his chosen so God could be Justified and not punish them for their sins. And treat them as though they are as perfect as Christ forever.
Yes, but in a corrective way. Why pray to lead us not into temptation if he doesn't use sin for our good?So what? That doesn't mean that God causes people to sin. How many people were raped today? What about these pedophile priests? God caused these rapists to go out and rape? Really?
