  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Have you ever eaten anything that he has caught and cooked it?

Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of wild game. He has gotten turkey, deer, elk and of course catches fish. We've tried the elk and sometimes we have deer, but I would rather eat beef. :) However, I love making deer jerky - it's the best!!

Does he have a lot of hunting stuff in the house I take it?

:D Absolutely!

He actually has his own "hunting" room! He's got it packed full of stuff, including a gun safe and tons of other stuff. I got bored one day and tried to redo the room a little bit. My mom and I put up a border with some deer on it and made some curtains. I bought some fake cattails and other stuff and made a little arrangement for the shelf. I tried to put my touch on it too. :) He also smokes, and I don't, so he uses that room to smoke in - that way the rest of the house doesn't smell like smoke. It works for me. And this last year, he went Elk hunting in Colorado - and got one, so he's also got tons of pictures to put everywhere.
The other thing he's addicted to is the fire department. He's a volunteer firefighter and so one corner of "his room" is dedicated to fire department stuff, pictures, etc. It actually doesn't look too bad.
