Just wondering what people think about drinking alcohol. Is it morally wrong or is it OK ...etc..?

Didn't Jesus drink wine? Change water into wine? Tell the disciples to drink wine? What about Ecclesiastes and other places where it tells you to drink?
Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more (Prov. 31:6-7; ESV).

I've seen people claim that the "wine" Jesus drinks and turns water into is actually just grape juice, but I don't see any scriptural or cultural support for this.

Scripture reads "wine." Not "Welch's grape juice."

According to the Bible it is wrong for a Child of God to drink strong drink or wine.(or beer for that matter)
This seems strange, as I would think it should say the opposite. I mean, giving alchohol to depressed people, letting them drink to forget their sorrows, you are inviting them to alcoholism by doing so. I do not understand that the Bible would promote you to offer drinks to depressed people.kern
