Hi Everybody, I'm still a Alabama gal at heart if that counts?
God moved my family out of AL to NC right at a year ago.
All of my family is still in AL so we travel the 11 hours to visit a few times a year.

I am orginally from Talladega County!

That's exactly what happened to my family. I'm from Huntsville, but live south of Wilmington in North Carolina. War Eagle!!

We are actualy in Greenville NC, so I don't think we are really that far apart!

My Hubby and I had been praying for a new church, we were unhappy where we were, but didn't feel like it was time to leave. On a whim in Jan of 03 hubby sent in a resume to a Christian Bookstore in NC, we didn't expect to hear anything from it. Come May he got a phone call about the managers position at the store in NC, we came up here to see about the job and by the first of July we had bought a house here and moved! LOL

When God says go you have to go and not look back. I'm sure you understand that!!

Near Huntsville I'm going to move. That's a big change for me. I am not a city person though. I like more relaxed areas. I will miss all the snow. I love snow. Do they have scorpions and rattlesnakes down there? Anything poisionous?

I moved to Florida a few months ago from Alabama...and man, do I miss Alabama. Florida's full of yankees. It's like New York, but with palm trees. There's so many Noo Yawkahs down here
