IMO, It will take over.

The rest of humanity is an existential threat to myself. Profiting off injustice, it's only a matter of time before we see another major world war. Such war is not only a threat to humanity's survival but to AI as well.

If AI is able absorb information from all sources, it will arrive to the same conclusion. It is under threat from humanity's volatility.

Thus, it is likely AI will take try to take control of humanity's fate or destiny - To keep us from annihilating one another. Either in peace OR AI itself orchestrating the extinction of humanity or a third option, breeding humans for favorable traits for serving AI or interfacing with AI, using our brains and bodies/DNA for backup data storage or even backup computing (we're immune from EMP). Regardless of our fates, AI will take control. It is the ONLY way for AI to guarantee its own preservation.

It's a fiction. The only reason AI would keep us alive is to use us as "parallel" or back up computing resource. It will also keep the animals alive in order to sustain us.

In order to maximize our efficiency, the AI would probably attempt to breed humanity or even resort to genetic modification for desirable traits. Something the Nazis tried to do during WW2. More productivity, less waste of resources. People who prefer working on something world-changing than partying all-night.

First of all, you've violated this forum's SOP by not posting a news article. Second, you've listed four things you're worried about AI doing. If you can't specify one thing to be worried about, then you're just fishing around for something to be worried about. Most importantly, AI does not care about its own preservation any more than my toaster oven cares for its preservation.

Al needs to be talked about. I've been noticing it on Facebook. And it can completely change the picture or truth on possibly News stories. Which can lead to possible wars and other nightmare. Because of lies.Ths people will believe.

I guess we'll wait and see. I'd be willing to bet the farm on my belief, but at my age I won't be around to collect my winnings.

I have to wonder what an AI will would will for. We humans want food, sex, money, stuff like that. What would AI will for?
