... Okay, so the title for the thread is misleading for a starter. AI didn't admit to anything. It was lead to say that God is the answer. Those are two entirely separate and different things.

Just because AI says something... does not mean it's real, or even intelligent.

It's a glorified machine, that people are taking WAY too seriously.

AIs of this type learn to answer the way humans answer those questions... there are a lot of examples of humans stating that God is that answer so that's part of the data it is trained on.

When I studied AI 20+ years ago, we were taught that AI is functionally a mix of searching and sorting... that hasn't really changed.

Not really. Stockfish AI is different to Grok but it's still AI and still just a glorified bit of coding
