You can only know this, if you have seen the earlier versions scriptures. So what did they originally say?

Let's start with something simple. Moses wrote Deuteronomy. Did he write the last chapter which recounts his death etc? Did he write the first 5 verses of chapter 1?

I understood that you were claiiming that the OT was edited *after* it was complete, by which you mean that the original has being changed so that it is very different.

But here you are asking a question about the original authoring of 1 book.

I am arguing that the OT was edited continually up until its canonical form. Hence there is very late work in the Pentateuch, e.g. Gen 1:1-2:4a which is IMO exilic and written by P.

I understood that you were claiiming that the OT was edited *after* it was complete

Yes i understand that you mean it was changed. And the evidence for this cannot be your opinion if you are claiming it as fact.

I personally trust J.C's testimony that the Pentateuch and the Prophets are reliable scriptures.

Well its your story you tell us when it stopped getting changed
