The 4th dimension is time.
I meant four dimensions of space.
James Ussher is not God.
James Ussher calculated time in existence, not physical age.

In other words, he calculated how many times this 4.57 billion year old planet has gone around the sun.

In that case he was out by about 4.57 billion.

Apples and oranges though.

4.57 billion years physically; 6000 years existentially.*

* Actually the Bible accounts for 4000 years ... up to AD 96.

Space and time are the same thing, we all know that, right?
I think it's called spacetime.
In physics, spacetime (also space–time, space time or space–time continuum) is any mathematical model that combines space and time into a single continuum. Spacetime is usually interpreted with space as existing in three dimensions and time playing the role of a fourth dimension that is of a different sort from the spatial dimensions.

I'm impressed with the magnitude of the error but not much else. The age of the earth is how long it has existed for.

We're not dealing with age though, we're dealing with embedded age.

And we're back to the so called ancient artefacts sold in the Egyptian markets. Skilled artisans "embedded" age in them as well by making them look older than they are.

For which there is no evidence in support of whatsoever beyond you repeating the phrase over and over.
I'll repeat it as many times as necessary; along with the fact that there is no evidence, because no evidence would have been generated.

No. It is measured SOLELY by and with the present state! As I said, manufactured..made up..invented.
As I said dad, it is a MEASURED age. Not an INVENTED age. You know the difference, do you not? Let's look at an example of something INVENTED... how about your Split/Merge dadology. That is a good example of something INVENTED.

Satan decided. I reject it.
Same lie, you repeat over and over again. Satan never did an isochron dating of a rock.

And yet, embedded age is testable. It predicts that the earth has a history of no more than 6,100 years. That prediction has been falsified. Therefore, embedded age is falsified, but you won't accept that reality.

It's nothing more than a Satanic attack on Genesis 1.

Satan decided. I reject it.

I want you two to explain to us how modern geological methodologies that have lead to a determination that the earth has been around for about 4.5 billion years is the work of Satan. In detail.

No, it doesn't.

It is the Bible, not embedded age, that documents the history of the earth.

Whether the earth has gone around the sun 6000 times or 600,000 times is not predicted by embedded age.
That prediction has been falsified.
Only on paper -- and again: it is not a prediction, it is a calculation.

Any cheap calculator can yield the result.
Therefore, embedded age is falsified, but you won't accept that reality.
Wrong conclusion.

Can I use 10,000 years and dendrochronology for simplification?

You can use whatever you want, as long as you explain why you accept 4.54 billion years as being the "age" of the earth (since that's the "work of satan").

Since when?

I thought I made it clear that God embedded the age?

Yes it does make a prediction, even if you wished it would not. Since embedded age does not include history, the earth, according to embedded age, has been around far longer than 6,100 years. Now, if you want to accept embedded age over Ussher's calculation, you can go right ahead and do so. However, that defeats the whole purpose of "embedded age," which is to rationalize the contraction between an earth that is very old created very recently.

Can I use 10,000 years and dendrochronology for simplification?
Use whatever you want, as long as you explain why it is the work of Satan.

Its very important to you guys that your pet theories are immune from evidence.. isn't it?

I'm not going to make up evidence to appease you.

If there's no money in my bank account, I'm not going to act like there is.

And if you think there should be, then I invite you to take my Apple Challenge.
