So you do not have to do all you can no for salvation; or are you saying you'll never make it because you haven't done all you can do.
Perhaps I will not be saved:

(New Testament | Matthew 7:12 - 20)

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 ¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

OP:

LDS Bible Dictionary:
Divine grace is needed by every soul in consequence of the fall of Adam and also because of man’s weaknesses and shortcomings. However, grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient. Hence the explanation, ‘It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do’ (2 Ne. 25:23).
So here is my question in five parts to LDS folks here:
Have you personally done all you can do:
  1. today ? [YES] [NO]
  2. yesterday? [YES] [NO]
  3. last week? [YES] [NO]
  4. last month? [YES] [NO]
  5. last year? [YES] [NO]

Please just answer the question rather than derailing, avoiding the question or changing the subject

What does this statement mean?

It's a total repudiation of "Once Saved, Always Saved".

It means that you can't simply say a prayer or declare yourself to be saved and then go about life as previously. You have to actually try to align your life with what is expected of someone who professes Christ. It's understood that most people won't quite make it, however, but it's also understood that grace exists to close that gap.

Your works-based theology is not Biblical, no matter how you tap dance around it.
