Your interpretation on that is the problem, because you're wrongly associating 'flesh' as a requirement for the image of man to manifest, when from God's Own Image Likeness is where the image of 'man' originates, even as He is a Spirit. It shows you don't understand the difference between this earthy dimension we are in compared to the heavenly dimension where God and the angels have their abode. It also shows you don't understand the idea of Spirit per God's Word.

The idea that the image of 'man' originates from the flesh is... an example of someone trying to explain these things in 'their' own words, and not by following the example in God's Word.

Look up the name for Archangel Gabriel and you'll find it means 'man of God'. When angels appeared to the flesh servants of God on earth, those angels always appeared with the image of man per God's Word. They weren't temporarily born into the flesh to appear with that image of man either.

Every believer on Jesus Christ should understand this simple matter, because in the resurrection Lord Jesus said they don't marry nor take in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven (Matthew 22:30). This is why now both men and women believers on Christ are called the "sons of God". It's actually referring to the future glorious state with Christ after His return (per 1 John 3).

Sorry, no women's liberation movement ideas fit what God's Word reveals on this. In that future time one is either of the "sons of God" under Christ Jesus, or the other choice is the lake of fire.
