Adam to Jesus

Just as one entered the world and brought death, one man entered the world and brought life. Just as Adam brings sin into the world, Jesus brings life to the world.

I believe some of you do not believe that Adam brought sin into the world. If Adam didn't bring sin into the world, then who did?

Is there sin in the world? Of course.

Is Adam its source? I don't really know. I think Adam and Eve are 2 of the principal characters in the story we told ourselves about how we came into being.

Why the need to focus so much on sin?
I mean, Jesus took care of it..the way I read the story.

Plus there's a saying: That which we focus on tends to grow.

Our parish is focusing on the radical hospitality of God: Jesus' arms of welcome open to every single person, no matter what.

The result:
Attendance, way up.
Pledging, way up.
Spiritual growth, way up.
People discovering their ministry, way up.
