No, she did not. Her campaign instructed the law firm they were using for the campaign to do opposition research on Donald Trump. The law firm hired the US firm, Fusion GPS, to create the report. Because of his expertise from his time served as a British agent, Fusion GPS hired Steele to do the background research in Russia.

It is about like claiming that Trump contracted with the Chinese government to make his campaign hats. No, he worked with US suppliers to get the hats, who used Chinese companies (which likely had Chinese government ties) to make the hats for them.

If you go back to the email that Don Jr received, it specifically stated that he would be meeting with a Russian government agent. My recollection is that she also had two males escorting her which have been identified as working for the Russian government. The evidence would suggest that, despite her being a private lawyer, that she does also work for the Russian government.

Evidence shows she worked with the Russian government to alter documents while presenting that she did not work for the Russian government, and she also was involved with working to recruit/corrupt a Swiss government official, and she lobbies against the Magnitsky act which is what Putin was against.

That information is already out. It is why the House censured Schiff. Why would they need an investigation to find that now? The guilt and punishment have already been decided. T he investigation is pointless now.

The only way your scenario is possible is if the House determined guilt and punishment without any evidence of wrongdoing and now are doing an investigation to find something that was worthy of censuring Schiff. But your scenario is so un-American that there is no way esteemed members of Congress would ever doing something so disgusting. So why is this investigation happening now?

Weird the need to bring up things that weren't used as evidence rather than discuss the actual evidence. Wonder why that is.

Interference can be spreading lies and leaks about a particular candidate. Interference can be, as childeye 2 indicated, Russia sharing information their intelligence had gathered to hurt Trump's opponent.

Or things like sharing internal campaign polling data with actors from a hostile country who are busy interfering with your country's elections : Ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort admits sharing info with Russians.
