i have windows XP SP3 on my desktop. i am having big trouble with activex not working i get a error message that says that my security is set to high for it to work i get the gold bar at the top but if i right click on it all i get is the help menu no way to use the activex . i have check all the blocks in the security section to see how they are set i have tried a 100 times in the last few days i have tried everything that i have read that talks about fixing activex. i have reset the security back to the default settings and it still want work. today i down loaded IE8 to see if activex would work then but it still want work i just get the gold bar across the top but when you click on it nothing happens and i have run out of things that i know about to try. if any one can help please let me know i have ran register cleaners or fixers but they don't help. i tried it with my fire wall and virus scan cut off it didn't help
