Accountability partner

I am seeking a male accountability partner. Anybody in a similar position, please get in touch thanks!

(A person that uses one of the forums here suggested finding an accountability partner. So I now have two accountability partners. If I see questionable material online then these two get an automatic email summary of what I have looked at. This has helped a lot as a deterrent. It is especially helpful just at that moment when it could go either way -the idea of other people knowing is not fun. Even on the one occasion that I had a fall (a few weeks ago) it still acted as a real constraint (I avoided using sexual search terms). So, in other words I haven't been perfect but it has definitely helped. One partner communicates with me very often but the problem I have is that the other person (actually the guy who proposed it to me) is just too busy (I think this person only offered out of kindness without thinking properly about the commitment involved). Anyway, If anyone is interested in taking over from him I would be happy to do that. Thanks. (Its just an email thing, I am in the UK).

NB I am male, almost 45, married with 4 teenage children. I would prefer a male partner if possible .)

Hey man, I just saw your thread about accountability partner and thought may be I could fill into the role. I'm a 20 year old Christian guy. I've had problems with sex-related stuff ever since I could remember. But I've got more and more serious about stopping as I grow older and more into God. I've never had sex and I'm way better than before in terms of watching porn and stuff. I havent watched them in a while actually. So that's good but I do get tempted now and then. May be this accountability partner thing could be a win-win situation for us? What do you think? god bless. I hope you have a great week ahead!

Lol that's totally alright man =D I totally understand what you mean. That guy is certainly more suitable. I'm barely 20. So I myself was wondering how well it'll go. Thanks for your reply. I'll pray for you. The cool thing is that a 23 year old guy has seen my reply to you in the thread. He's sent me a msg for the accountability partner thing. So I think everyone's happy now. =D God bless.

Oh and hey do try typing your prayers to God everyday. Talk about anything that interests you to God. It connects you to Him more and feel his presence even when you're not praying cause you know you will pray to Him sooner or later that day. I wrote a long letter to God a few times yesterday whenever I felt like talking to Him. I asked Him for stuff and talked about things that inerested me. I even told him a dream had the previous night. lol. And something tempted me last night but I didnt fall cause I felt his presence and knew I was gonna write more letters to him a lil later. So yea, you can may be try that and suggest it to your accountability partner as well. Anyway, have a wonderful week. Take care. Bye man
