This explanation contradicts the earlier YT video that you linked (post #1,690 and previous posts). For reference, here it is again:
These cannot both be right. So, which is it? You need to choose.
For us 'deluded globalists' both are nonsense. Both show that the flat earth explanations disagree with actual everyday observations.
With the sunset attempt, the sun is supposed to disappear into the distance as it sets. So, it must be moving extremely fast at this point. Also it must be be beyond the dome firmament, no longer inside it. But I have seen the sun drop below the horizon / vanishing point.
Photographing a sunset is difficult due to exposure and the very limited dynamic range of cameras.
I can tell the difference between a car that goes out of sight as it rounds a corner, and one that gradually gets smaller as it gets further away on a straight flat road. The sun behaves like a car going out of sight around a corner (but vertical movement, going down).
However, the earlier video shows the sun always above the earth, but only illuminating some of the earth's surface. Which implies the sun must be focused onto just an area of the earth. Like a spot light, not a round bulb. I have only seen a round sun (excepting sunrise and sun set). If it was a spot light, it would look elliptical most of the time. It would only look circular when directly overhead.
These flat earth 'explanations' are like filling in a crossword. Every horizontal answer that crosses "9 down" has a different answer to "9 down" (even then, most are the wrong length)
