Because thats how impact craters look like. We can witness the process and we can experimentally repeat the process with the same outcome.Oops!
How do you know they are craters ?
I've known what it is for a great many years. Wonderful insulation. It doesn't float in the sky, sorry. Before spouting off here why don't you go & do some research to what 'sillica aerogel' actually is ?
Your post and the linked video do not address the fact that the sun and moon remain exactly the same size from rising to setting. The law of perspective would require that they get smaller as they near the horizon. They don't, thus your explanation does not pass the smell test.In the Flat-Earth model, the Sun and Moon spotlights are perpetually hovering over and parallel to the surface of the Earth. From our vantage point, due to the law of perspective, the two luminaries appear to rise up the eastern horizon, reach their peaks high overhead, and then sink below the western horizon. They do not escape to the underside of the flat Earth as scoffing detractors often imagine, but rather rotate concentric clockwise circles around the circumference from tropic to tropic. The appearance of rising, peaking and setting is due to the common law of perspective where tall objects appear high overhead when nearby, but at a distance gradually lower towards the vanishing point...

I personally cannot prove it to you personally. But thats fine, I cannot even prove to you that for example America exists, when you reject photos, videos, literature and experience of other people. But still you can't prove that's what they are.........
No it doesn't.But it does prove that you can bring the sun back into magnification, this proves that the sun is far away from our prospective viewing & that the sun is still there.
No it doesn't.
I personally cannot prove it to you personally.
Thats all right. We have to accept that convincing an unreasonable, irrational person who believes all kinds of nonsense and in the same time rejects all the solid evidence, reasoning and the general human knowledge is not a necessary goal of online discussions.I thought not.

We - the participants on this forums.Who's we & who is it your trying to convince
Ok... try to prove me wrong.. I have been on the fence with this "flat earth" thing.. but I have news..
The earth is 71% water and it is NOT carbonated...
So.... it's flat....
I am not trying to convince anyone,
I've explained it to you twice now, and for the third time, the sun and moon do not get smaller as they get further away, thus your claim that the sun and moon disappear due to the law of perspective is false. Why doesn't it ?
