IMO, in all honesty, I think God could care less if you call Jesus "Yeshua" or "Jesus." He's still the same Christ/Messiah :) That's why we're still saved by calling on the Name of Jesus Christ! That's why the demons tremble at the Name of Jesus and are rebuked by that Name, because they know Who you're speaking About. Jesus is still Jesus no matter which Greek or Hebrew version name you give Him! That's another thing that's awesome about Him. He's not a picky God over names! :)

    Hello rpggal

I want to approach this very easy, okay. This could get real
deep in a hurry here, so let our Father walk you through it
one step at a time. He loves you very much, and if your heart
is right, He will teach you at your own pace. :)

    With that being said;

We always have a starting point in our belief system, but our
Father expects us to grow in our understanding of Him, and not
become stale. To become stale is to loose the Kingdom, to
become trapped in our traditions, means we will not, and choose
    not to grow anymore.

I sometimes refer to Yashua as Jesus only because most do not
have a full understanding of the Hebrew scriptures, but I would
like to see everyone grow to a more complete understanding of
    our Father.

God knows no other Saviour than Himself, "for there is none
other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must
be saved", but the True Salvation Name of YAHU'SHUAH ("YHVH is
    Saviour") (Isa. 43:11; 45:21; 41:4; Acts 4:12).

The Hebrew name YESHUA is to say in english
    "YAH is our salvation".

How to pronounce the name Yeshua:

Please do not over use the SACRED NAME OF OUR FATHER!!!

YAH HAH VEY (VEY= sounds like hey, but with a V)

Father will teach you as you go, but I pray to our Father as
    Yeshua has taught.

Our Father who is in Heaven (ect.)
And anything that I pray, I ask in Yeshua's precious name.

If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask....

    Your brother in Christ

So, it is better to call Yeshua, than Jesus?

Yes, Yeshua is the one and only name of our Messiah.

    :) ;)

Well, then I have to start getting used to calling him by that name!

The [Hebrew] name of a being was more than just a handle, it represents what that being stands for, the PURPOSE of their being, thus the names in the Bible are very significant.
This is what it is referring to I think is praying IN YESHUA'S NAME.... it was through the purpose of Yeshua's perfect life to the death as a man and resurrection to become our high priest that we can now pray as sinners to our Father and receive the spirit of truth [according to the promise of Yeshua that he would intercede for our sins so that this is possible].
This also means that the 'destruction' of a being means only a change in purpose of that being.... Yeshua was destroyed by the Romans at the instigation of the Jewish hiearchy, yet he was resurrected to a new role/purpose as high priest of the order of the King of peace [Melchisedec] and King of Israel,King of kings, etc.
In this context note that Lucifer changed his NAME to satan when he became our adversary because sin was found in him.... it is an important principle throughout scripture in understanding names and prophecy.

In spanish Mike is translated to Miguel.

It is just a translation from language to language.

    Apparently not, corruption has a role too;
As we learnt elsewhere in the workshop.
e.g. The name 'Jesus' is a corruption under pagan [Roman] influence [to do with Zeus and Sunday worship] and the name is rendered [literally] as 'Yeshua' even in the Far East, but not in most English translations!

Just to give scripture for clarity

    Jhn 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name(Yeshua),
that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

As I was trying to get across, the NAME represents the PURPOSE, the essence of what the being is about,
so to do something in Yeshua's name is to do it
in the purpose of salvation [of sinners],
and so we have support from God for this purpose
by praying and fasting and yearning for it.
Anyone for helping out getting the message across to
modern-day Israel, that feels like moving a mountain to me
is your faith in love up to it?
They really need to know that they have to be ready to flee Judaea IN A HURRY! [it really will be a terrible slaughter, no matter how much we try to be watchmen and warn them]
Has it ever puzzled you how much Jews ignore their own scripture
[just like christians!]...good job God's at the helm, not us, is all I can say!

As the Greek Bible refers to Jesus/Yeshua as "Iesous", then if the name is so important, surely you should refer to him as Iesous? After all, if the writers of the NT felt it was not wrong to call him Iesous (which was later transliterated into Latin and then English as Iesu/Jesu/Jesus) then why the fuss over calling him Yeshua?

    Hello again everyone

I have tried to stear everyone in the right direction here at this
forum. Of coarse, not everyone is willing to see the truth as
    Yeshua has told His children.

I will leave you with a few last words:

If you choose to continue following false doctrine, then that is
your free will to do so. I pray that YHVH will open your eye's to
    His truth.

The Bible that we have here in the US, and elsewhere is primarily
taken under the authority of the Roman Catholic Empire. If you
choose to follow "jesus", then you are choosing to follow a false
    god, namely, "Zues".

I am telling this to you for your own good, it really pains me to see
    so many led astray.....

Here is a link to a website that I suggest everyone really takes
the time to study, and pray to YHVH about, and ask Him to lead
    you to His truth.....

There is much to learn here, and it is the closest website I have
found for people seeking the truth of Fathers word.

Perhaps we should discover His aramaic name.

If there is so much error in using the Jesus, then why is it possible to see people saved and delivered by that name? Why do demons respond to the name?

It isn't because of the name but because of the authority given by the person Jesus. It's the authority that brings results, not a name.

Jesus stated "ALL authority is given me, now (you) go in that authority.

    Here's a question for you.

Have you seen Demons cast out?

About all I ever seen in this America where I live is a bunch
of so called preachers putting on some kind of a show......

A bunch of screaming and yelling, slapping people on they're
heads, pushing them over, people floping around on the floor
acting like they've lost they're minds.....

    Mar 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and
shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible,
    even the elect.

    Mat 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it
were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

    2Th 2:9
[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Once again, it's up to people to choose who they will follow. Most
don't like to admit, but Satan himself can show signs and wonders as well....

Hmm.... this thread is getting nowhere. I am more confused than ever. I think God looks at the heart, and not at what we says. If we believe him in the heart, he will forgive us for what we say.

    something to think about:
    Isa 9:6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    Matt 1:23
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

As I was saying it isn't the name {in letters}, its the meaning of the name [the purpose]
The purpose of Yeshua was SAVIOUR
The pirpose of the name Jesus was to corrupt the purpose to pagan worship of Zeus to align it with pagan Sunday worship [possibly started by Constantine, a Roman Emperor, who had several aims in this,
    pleasing the roman citizens,
being able to single out Jews for persecution by their keeping true sabbath of God
[a Hebrew day starting at sunset in Jerusalem, simultaneously for everyone worldwide, NOT obviously one of the Roman days we follow because there were no Roman days when God defined sabbath -Gen 2:3]
aligning his false sabbath with Roman sun-god worship
fulfilling the Roman tradition for emperors to be gods and so be able to define and change times and laws, etc [fore-runner to Daniel 7:25 ?]

Have I seen demons cast out ?YES. Have I seen documented cases of Healing? YES.
Are there nuts running around acting foolish? Yes.

None of these people's actions diminish the power and authority that has been given to the believers.

I think this is silly. Call the Son of God, Jesus, Iesous, or Yeshua. It is a matter of language translation, not doctrine.
The names John and Sean are the same, one is english, the other gaelic(sp?) or Celtic or something like that. I think it is ridiculous to say that unless we call Jesus, Yeshua then we are not worshipping God in spirit and in truth and are believing a false gospel.

Jesus said whoever believes in Him shall not perish, He didn't say whosoever calls Me by the correct translation of My name will be saved.

Guys, we are getting hung up on a translation. I understand that The holy name of God is very important, but if I call him God, is that blasphemy? Yeshua is the name of God, yes? We tend to use that name to refer to the father. Jesus is used to refer to the son and Comforter is how we speak of the Holy Spirit. The name that you use to refer to God DOES NOT DETERMINE YOUR SALVATION. Please stop infering this in your comments. "By grace you are saved through faith" NOT BY THE NAME YOU USE TO REFER TO GOD.
I belive that there is pleanty to learn, but the stances that a few are taking aare infering that people are not saved becuase they use the name Jesus. If you belive that the YOU are the ones that are falling to false doctrine, a doctrine of legalistic nonsense.

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
