In cases where rape has been proven in a court of law. In cases where there is a physical health threat to the mother (i.e. not psychological) abortion would also seem OK.

If you can possibly die, then go ahead and have the baby, at least let it live cause you don't know for sure if you will die or not, thats up to God and if you do die, trip to heaven, hopefully.
I don't see what the issue is. Murder is sin, and abortion ius murder no matter how far along it is.

I voted 2, 3, 4. I'm alittle torn on 5 because rape is hard to prove, plus with our "snail-speed" legal system it could very well take beyond 9 months to prove it in a court of law.
Wow, it is amazing you are willing to allow women to die, especially since you are male and will never have to face that threat.xtxArchxAngelxtx said:If you were raped, god let it happen for a reason.

I agree it is a terrible attitude to have, but you know what? Killing an INNOCENT baby is an even worse attitude.flicka said:And ok, i cant let this one go. This is a terrible thing to say, a terrible attitude to have, and something i NEVER hope to hear from another human being again. Understand??
Again, to all those who want rape proven in court...in what universe will that happen in the first trimester??
I hate knowing that in this country people who dont think can actually vote!!!
I think rapest desirve the death penelty, so by no means am I supportive of rapist. I am also a male so I don't think I will be getting raped anytime soon. And I will let God judge my next life. Bad things in life happen, like rape, but killing a baby will not justify it by any means.Spike~ said:[edited]
It would be the same I would tell my future wife if she was raped. She would also agree and let it happen putting her faith in God.Mac6yver said:Wow, it is amazing you are willing to allow women to die, especially since you are male and will never have to face that threat.
Did I ever say God causes it to happen??? No, he lets it happen... you know that lil 9/11 thing? Yeah he let that happen too. Someone dieing or someone being raped isn't hardly anything compared to that. Just trying to keep things in prospective here.Annabel Lee said:You believe God is the motivator behind a sexual deviant's act of brutal rape?
That's a new one.
Sometimes you do know that you will die.

You all tell me I am sick because i feel not aborting a baby is what needs to happen due to any circumstance....
Killing an innocent baby is worse than being raped or dieing yourself. That baby desirves a right to live, and it does have a soul. "for i created you before the foundations of the earth." That baby has a soul before it's physical body was ever formed, so it doesn't matter when you abort it either.
My feelings for you are mutual, but I sure as heck am not gonna act upon them as most of you have towards me. Not to mention that there are another 4 people that agree with, I am just willing to speak up for what I feel is right, despite the crowd.
Peace

I personally would not be able to live with the guilt of knowing I helped kill her baby when that baby could have grown up to be an awesome worker of God.
Just do Gods will.
So then I guess that means cancer patients shouldn't undergo chemotherapy because hey, if you're gonna die then why interfere with God's plan...right?xtxArchAngelxtx said:If you can possibly die, then go ahead and have the baby, at least let it live cause you don't know for sure if you will die or not, thats up to God and if you do die, trip to heaven, hopefully.
I can agree in part...but that problem could be easily addressed if open, honest sexuality education was mandatory-none of this ridiculous 'abstinence only' foolishness. However, the same groups opposing abortion oppose that vigorously-which seems to beg the question of what their goals are. It seems to some degree the objection is more to the fact people are having sex than to abortion per se.Ampmonster said:i checked 2-5 obviously. my main objection to abortion is that, mostly, its a byproduct of sexual irresponsiblity.
You gotta teach both in schools (safe sex and abstinence). People like to be given a choice, especially teens. Abstinence is becoming cool again, just look on the football teams, where it's seen as part of the training regimen. I'm sure if they were taught only abstinence, it wouldn't be the same.La Bonita Zorilla said:I can agree in part...but that problem could be easily addressed if open, honest sexuality education was mandatory-none of this ridiculous 'abstinence only' foolishness.
