And I'll quote pop culture memes in lieu. I get nothing out of scripture because I was never brought up in a religious household. Last thing I'd care for is to have Christians (well, any faith really), quote their particular holy texts at me... it's just non-sensical.

Methinks you're understating your position a bit.

Some time ago a Urantian joined here and started spouting Urantian theology.

And even though I have never read (or heard of) the Book of Urantia, I was able to understand exactly where he was coming from because he salted almost everything he said with it.

If scientists here can salt their beliefs with their scripture and expect us to understand, I can do the same.

It's more like God couldn't create humans who were incapable of making their own decisions, including the decision to disobey Him.

If I make a decision to float in mid air contrary to gravity, will I float in mid air? No. This means that God did not give us the ability to make decisions freely. So why allow us to do evil but not float in mid air if we decide to?

Because that's the main atheistic teaching that I've come across in the past regarding biological life and evolution - that life came about by random happenstance and evolution is the effect of that random cause.

I suspect that the only people who have taught you that scientists think evolution is random are the religious people who are trying to get you to discount evolution.

If you read what Jesus actually says you'd understand why thinking God murdered Jesus is fundamentally wrong.

John 10:17-18
"The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

So in reality, God loves Jesus because Jesus willingly chose to lay is life down on our behalf, showing the love of God to all. IOW, Jesus laying his life down is God's response to our desire to crucify.
