I would assume, to a biologist, love is some kind of electromagnetic impulse in the brain that activates chemicals that stimulate various organs in the body that would normally lie dormant until properly stimulated.

When discussing religious and/or political issues on internet forums it is not unusual to see opinions strongly expressed even to the point of one person calling another person 'a liar'. I think it important to pause to consider exactly what 'a lie' is. My understanding is that a lie is an untruth that is told in the full knowledge that it is an untruth. It is very difficult in an impersonal forum like an internet chat room to know another person's understandings or motivations. I think that sometimes a person will state an opinion not knowing that it is not factually true. In such a situation the person is not a liar even though they might be totally misinformed. A lie is a very different thing than an untruth.
