• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Does it bother you when you see people sitting in the grass using their laptop which is setting on the ground?
Bobcats are smarter than Bison (if more ways than one and if necessary I could prove it)...lol...I have never seen anyone use a laptop while it is sitting on the ground, I have seen people sitting in the grass with their laptop on their laps and I have seen people laying on blankets with their laptop on the blanket outside.

◘ Who taught you the most painful lesson you’ve ever learned in life? What was it?
○ Is a great teacher still great if he or she is not willing to improve?
◘ If you could raise your IQ by 50 points but in so doing had to drop your height by 1 foot, would you do it?
○ What is the most pressing problem to be solved in the world today? Why?
◘ If you could have a stranger come up to you and whisper anything into your ear, what would you want them to say?

◘ What impact do you want to leave on the world?
○ How short would your life have to be for you to start living different today?
◘ Give an example of when a negative experience has had a positive outcome in your life.
○ Do you dislike or like people who are proud of themselves and don't try to hide it? Why?
◘ Do you believe there is such a thing as world peace, or is it necessary in life for there always to be a duality in existence?

◘ Where do you draw the line between possible and impossible?
○ Where do you believe love ends and obsession begins?
◘ Are you a talker or a listener? Is it ever possible to really be both?
○ Is becoming a wise person the product of doing many unwise things?
◘ When the children of today grow up and look back at this period in history, what do you think they'll say? What would you most want them to remember about this period in history?

why do we suffer for the sins of Adam and Eve?

EDIT: better question. why do we suffer when the price of our sins has already been paid?
The path of Christianity is a long, hard road. We were never promised an easy life when we become Christians, in fact sometimes the road gets harder, we just have a better way to cope with it. Plus this life is character building for the next one.

God, life is very fragile.

Is a great teacher still great if he or she is not willing to improve?
If they are great, do they need to improve?, but I think every teacher should be willing to improve.

If you could raise your IQ by 50 points but in so doing had to drop your height by 1 foot, would you do it?
Only if I was over 6' 6"...lol

What is the most pressing problem to be solved in the world today? Why?
If I had to narrow it to one (which is almost impossible because there are a combination of things) I would probably say world hunger....no one should be dying of hunger in 2007, we produce enough food to feed the world, but we don't use it all, we throw so much away.

If you could have a stranger come up to you and whisper anything into your ear, what would you want them to say?
God Bless You
