  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How has the FBI fingerprint center in Clarksburg (which I do believe I told you) helped us? They brought in outsiders to work there except for the janitorial staff...But alas it did make us feel good, so I guess that does count for something.

The Rural Health Center was there before Byrd put his name on it. And Cabell, come on...lol

Big Daddy hasn't advanced biotechnologies, he put his name on a biotechnology building at Marshall University. Is it the only one in the country? NO, but alas I think I am talking to the wind here. I know I won't convince you and you know that I agree Byrd has done things, but we are still 49th (thank God for Mississippi) and he has helped us stay there. It is in his best interest that we stay down though, but anyway....I know I am wasting my breath here.

But I must admit Big Daddy does make for some interesting discussions...lol

I never said that Byrd built the building with his own two hands... Or that he physically goes in and teaches the classes. But, he got the money to fund all of the technologies (which are very expensive btw) that are there! You just don't like him because he is a democrat. :p

◘ How do you believe evangelists such as Jim Bakker, Ted Haggard, and Jim Jones have impacted the view of Christianity?
○ Which soap opera do you think would best portray your life? Why?
◘ Which serial killer (ie. Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Jack the Ripper) fascinates you the most? Why? If you could ask this person one question, what would it be?
○ Do you enjoy watching horror movies? Do these types of movies have a lasting affect on you?
◘ What do you think to fear God means? Do you believe it is simply respecting God and His power, or does it mean to literally fear Him? Why do you believe this?

I will skip questions 1-3

No and No

We should be afraid of God, he can do anything at anytime to anyone, but I think it has a lot to do with respecting God and his awesome power. God is not mean or injust, but he is not afraid to punish us. We must live always trying to please him.

SAT score back in the day?
hmm, I made a 1200 and something, don't really remember the score because I ended up only using my ACT score since all the colleges that I applied for didn't need and/or want the SAT score.

I need near complete silence in order to concentrate.

What would you do if chocolate was banned in the US?
I would either become a criminal or move. I would probably move because if chocolate was banned then probably other things were as well and the nation had went through a drastic change. Then again

then again I might pick up my gun and fight to return the Republic.

Do you believe that teachers/professors should give partial credit if most of a student's answer is correct?
I think it should be the at the teachers/professors discretion.

Who was your favorite teacher in high school? Why?
This is a tough one....I like Mrs. Ramey and carried on many good conversations with her. I liked Mrs. Daniels and also carried on many good conversations and she was a great inspiration to me academically, spiritually, and she tried to inspire me to do great things with my life. I also liked Mr. Spry and Mr. Kilgore, but they didn't affect my life in such a profound way. But that is definitely my top four.

Do you like your mayor? Why or why not?
I must inform you that I do not live in city limits and thus do not have a mayor. Having said that I live on a farm/kingdom or empire and I tend to like the King and Queen or Emperor and Empress (I especially like the value placed upon the opinion of the crowned prince.....ME...lol)

So... You don't get to vote for mayor?
Correct....you must live within city limits to vote for Mayor or City Council. I don't even vote in town even though both my parents do. I vote at a long forgotten school building on Mill Creek. Where is the logic....lol You see the Holy Land is split into two political districts. Part of our farm is in one district and part in another. Our house is in the Butler district which votes at the Middle School and if you pay attention to the masonry above the doors in the front it says Butler District. This is where my parents vote. They assigned me to a different polling place, probably due to the fact that so many people vote at the Middle School (well over 1000) and much fewer people vote at my polling place. But I don't mind, I am actually closer to my polling place and there are more interesting people there and that is where my grandmother, aunt, uncle, and cousin vote. (We account for the five Republicans that vote at that place, I have never had to wait on the Republican booth during a primary election...lol)

Haha... So your parents' bedroom is in one district and yours is in the other? :p:p:p Sounds kind of like the 'Huntington' Mall... ^_^

Jim Bakker is an American televangelist, a former Assemblies of God minister, and a former host (with his then-wife Tammy Faye Bakker) of The PTL Club, a popular evangelical Christian television program. A sex scandal led to his resignation from the ministry. Subsequent revelations of accounting fraud brought about his imprisonment and divorce and effectively ended his time in the larger public eye.

Ted Haggard is a former American evangelical preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he has served, he is the founder and disgraced former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was leader of the National Association of Evangelicals from 2003 until November 2006. In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership positions after allegations of homosexual sex and drug abuse were made by whistleblower Mike Jones, a former prostitute. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones, but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual immorality" to his list of confessions.

Jim Jones was the American founder of the Peoples Temple group, which became synonymous with group suicide after the November 18, 1978 mass murder - suicide by poison in their isolated agricultural intentional community called Jonestown, located in Guyana. Nine hundred and thirteen (913) people drank cyanide after Jones ordered his men to kill visiting Congressman Leo Ryan and numerous members of his entourage.
